The Space:

Tucked inside the lush, gated enclave of Palmetto Dunes, this 2-bedroom villa at 987 Inverness Village sits right along the fairways of the George Fazio Golf Course - a setting that trades the usual island noise for gentle morning birdsong and sweeping greens as far as the eye can see. Sliding glass doors open onto a private deck where the Carolina sky stretches wide, making it easy to linger over coffee at sunrise or fire up the grill as the afternoon fades.

 

Living space

Inside, the open floor plan connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen in a way that keeps things easy and social. Natural light moves through the space freely, and the layout is comfortable for a small group without feeling oversized. A TV and dedicated workspace round out the living area, and the private entrance means your arrivals and departures stay on your own schedule.

 

Sleeping arrangements

The villa sleeps up to 6 guests across two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Bedroom 1 holds a king bed with convenient bathroom access, while Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed with its own private bath - a setup that works well for two couples or families who appreciate a little extra space. A sofa bed in the living room handles the third sleeping option without crowding the main bedrooms.

 

Kitchen & dining

The well-equipped kitchen handles everything from quick breakfasts to full evening meals. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and all the cookware and dishes you need. A dining table brings everyone together, and when the weather cooperates, barbecue utensils and an outdoor BBQ grill make deck dinners a natural choice.

 

Bathrooms

Both bathrooms are stocked with the basics - towels, bed linens, soap, and toilet paper are all provided. A bathtub, hair dryer, and hot water round out the essentials, so you can settle in without any runs to the store.

 

Outdoor & community amenities

Step outside and Palmetto Dunes delivers. The Inverness Village complex includes a community pool, a children's pool, and tennis courts. Beyond the complex, an 11-mile lagoon winds through the resort - ideal for canoeing or kayaking - alongside golf, biking trails, and more. The beach sits less than a mile away, reachable by bike or via the seasonal Dunes Buggy Shuttle (mid-March through mid-September), which offers complimentary on-demand transportation throughout Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, and Shelter Cove.

 

Please note

Palmetto Dunes is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $45. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.



Dog Friendly - 2 dog max. $250 non-refundable fee per dog. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and must be crated if left alone. Please do not leave furry friends alone outside, as we have wildlife that they should not encounter.



Free access to The Dunes Buggy transportation which provides courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, and Shelter Cove mid-March through mid-September. This on-demand service dispatches vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis!

Getting Around:

Biking is very popular on Hilton Head Island, known for the many award-winning trails. There are recommendations for bike rental companies within your Guest App. You can reserve in advance and they will deliver to you or bring your own! Almost everything you will need is within walking distance, so bring your walking shoes! There are free trolley stops at various locations throughout the island.



Palmetto Dunes Buggy Service

Free shuttle service. The Palmetto Dunes Buggy service provides complimentary transportation within the Palmetto Dunes Resort and Shelter Cove Harbor. Don't worry about renting a car or spending money on getting to and from all the amenities and things to do at Palmetto Dunes.



The shuttle service will take you to the beach, golf courses, restaurants, shops, and tennis courts at Palmetto Dunes. It will also bring you to Shelter Cove Harbour, Towne Center, and the Plaza. This area is bustling and offers plenty of activities and things to do just off-site.



The Palmetto Dunes Buggy service is available seasonally from April to September. Each van is dispatched on a first-come, first serve basis by request. Typically vans arrive within 10 minutes of a call.
