Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. No AC, no response from management

No AC/heat on arrival. Called 24 hour hot line 4-times, mailbox was full each time. Downstairs bathroom floor has mold due to past toilet leak. Parking spaces are very small, compact cars only. Cosmetic repairs needed in all spaces in the unit. The unit was very hard to find, no directions given in checkin package.

Not much has been updated in this property since it was built (maybe 30 years?) other than the appliances and counter top. Stains on the ceiling and walls. It could use a good cleaning top to bottom, new paint, carpet, etc. On the other hand, it was priced accordingly. It was very well equipped. Just about everything that you can imagine was included except an oven mitt. The cleaning service left a generous number of clean towels, etc. The AC in the bedroom with two beds is extremely noisy, while the other bedroom has little air flow. Overall, it was a fair value..

Decent stay

Home was clean and nice. Pull out sofa bed mattress needs replaced as you could feel every spring and bar. Biggest concern was the parking lot as it was too tight to fit our full size truck into the spaces both width and depth. Posting needs updated to reflect the issues with parking as we had to find alternative parking elsewhere. Short walk to the beach. Pools on site are clean. Unit is a short bike ride or drive to restaurants and Coligny.

The island is wonderful. The unit we stayed in was very dated and needed a refresh pretty badly. The pool was murky so we didn’t get in that. It’s close to the beach of you rent a bike and a cart otherwise it’s exactly .5 mile from porch to sand walk. The community was very quiet. Parking for the unit is a bit tight.

Painting

The property was being painted outside. We could not see out the windows-covered by plastic and twice we could not get in the front door without a wait because it was covered while painting going on. The flooring did not seem clean and the carpet on the stairs needed cleaning. I’m sure it had to do with pets allowed. When we arrived at the property we could not tell which property was ours for sure- unit numbers covered for painting. It seems the owner is in the process of renovating- probably should finish before renting. The location was excellent- close to pools, beach and Coligny Circle. We have stayed at Ocean Breeze before and like the location.

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was stocked. Downstairs was nicely renovated. Upstairs could use some updating but was decent. Could really use an outside water hose for beach sand. Short walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

Nice neighborhood and proximity to beach. But pictures on listing do not accurately describe home. Would have been nice to have pictures of upstairs. Carpet desperately needs to be replaced. Bedrooms and bathrooms need to be updated.

Grimy carpet and misleading pricing

I would like to post a pic of the carpet but can’t. The prices that are listed are seriously less than half the actual price. When fees that don’t vary are as much as the room, then they should be in the price listing. If there is an additional pet fee, then it should be assessed with it 24 hours of the booking. We were charged pet cleaning and other cleaning for a place that literally looked like a pet boarding facility or carpet that had been lying on the floor of a car repair place. I seriously could not believe that they expected us to walk on it. I won’t go into details about whatever was running down the vertical blinds, the dead bugs between the carpet and the wall and the fifth Ines’s of the deck. I texted to ask if they had a condo in which we could remove our shoes front the shower to the bed, but didn’t get a response until the day before we checked out and then it was only about a pet fee. There is a reason that there photos don’t show the carpet upstairs. This was my birthday get away and it really hurt my feelings that they were not more forthcoming about the dog urine and feces stains on the carpet upstairs. My husband had a conference call they let him stay until 1:00 on the day we checked out since most cafes were closed for inside dining. That was nice and we appreciate that.

Everything has been good and owner response has also been great. The location is close to the beach and to a shopping area. The condo itself is as described in several reviews a few things are a little worn but it is quite sevicable. The coffee maker probably should be replaced. It has to be set up just right to make it work because some parts are worn,.

Comfortable and close to beach

The condo was really nice and very clean. Lots of communication with the property manager. Close to the beach and everything we needed to enjoy our beach visits was provided. I would definitely recommend this property.

Remodeled nicely, good space

The rental was satisfactory and mostly well equipped. I would recommend to others with a few minor improvements. Dishes only for 4 people. Easy upgrade to add another set. A few more serving bowls would be helpful. The sleeper sofa in living area was a little beat up. Not comfortable for sitting. The heater wasn’t functioning properly in the downstairs. Upstairs was warm but very little air flowing on first floor until we turned heat past 76 degrees. Nice convenient location. Overall a solid B.

Lovely Condo in beautiful area

Very nice condo. Has everything you need . Short, pleasant walk to the beach. Only complaint is the HVAC needs some help. We had to freeze downstairs in order to cool master bedroom upstairs and it still didn't cool that well up there . I would worry about staying there in the heat of the summer .

Great kitchen remodel and 10-min walk to beach

This was a great little condo for a week at the beach. Kitchen was remodeled very nicely and it was great that there was a washer/dryer to use. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach. My biggest issue was how stained the carpet was upstairs. Even though it's a pet friendly location the carpet badly needs to be replaced. Be warned that if you arrive late at night the specific condo is very difficult to find because of the lack of lighting in the condo area. Overall was a great place to stay and would stay again!

Good location needs an update

The location is close to the beach and restaurants. As a family we liked the separation of bed rooms and living area. We liked the two pools in the complex as one was close to our condo. The condo was semi clean upon arrival. The master bedroom bed was extremely uncomfortable and creaked with every move. Each bed only had one pillow with a pillow case. We had to request more cases to use more than one pillow. Since we couldn’t get ahold of anyone after we arrived at the 4pm check in to get more cases so the first night sleep was not good. Overall the condo is well laid out and has nice decorations. The master bed, sofa and bathroom fixtures are torn, broken & old. This would be a perfect place to stay if they updated these items.

Very disappointed with property and property manager. Will not rent again.

We were extremely disappointed with the villa itself. It is very aged, outdated and very dirty. Upon arrival, some dishes were put awAy, but dirty. We had to check any dish used for cleanliness. Not all trash cans had not been emptied. The bathroom had a full dirty trash can . The deck has not cleaned in a while. The neighbor’s deck was completely clean and clear of leaves. This villa’s was not. It was very dirty. The beach cart offered for use was full of mold and mildew. My daughter’s bicycle was stolen from beside the villa’s steps during the second night. I contacted the “local” property manager’s number to see if crime was an issue in the area and to let them know. The “local” number is in Portland, OR. They were no help at all. I drove to the local property manager’s office. They were not apologetic or Sympathetic of my daughter’s beloved bike being stolen. She was very impersonal ans did not seem surprised by the theft. I also spoke about the cleaning issues. She took my number and said that she would speak to the development manager to see if there were cameras that may have caught the theft. . I never heard from her again. She clearly did not care. I’m not surprised after her initial reaction. Overall, very disappointed!! Will not stay here again!

Condo was super clean with lots of fresh towels I thought it was closer to the beach and I also thought it slept 7 with a double and a twin in the 2nd bedroom. Pool was nice Parking was slim for SUV’s.
