Very few drawbacks...the light switches were hard to figure out what goes where, loudest hot tub on the planet, Sonos was cool, but limited use thru the whole house and patio area. All in all really a great place!

Our stay was fabulous! Pool and hot tub were in use continuously. Beach was just a few steps away. The only problem we had were the lights were hard to figure out snd shower in master was difficult to adjust. Would definitely return!

Birthday Golf Trip

Property was great and closely located to harbourtown golf courses. Kitchen was excellent as we hired a chef for a day. Really enjoyed the game room, deck and pool/spa. Thank you for hosting as we all enjoyed ourselves.

Great Location, Beautiful Home

Overall, a wonderful stay. Beautiful home with plenty of space and beautiful decor. House was not cleaned very well, kitchen freezer didn't work and we paid to have the pool and spa heated, but only the spa was heated. That said, we would absolutely stay here again, even with a few glitches. The setting is absolutely amazing!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location, spacious home, but we were disappointed by the family room furniture and the outdoor area being badly in need of cleaning and update. We would not sit at the outdoor eating area, the grill did not work properly and the pool bath is in need of repair and a deep clean due to mold. For the price we paid to rent this home, it was a disappointment.

Well the 1st morning my son was trying to prepare breakfast the burners were not working. So he opened the oven door to check things & the oven blew up ingulfing him in flames. It was a terrifying experience for all of us. He could have been scared for life or worse. Fortunately only his hand was burned & his hair & eyebrows singed. They did send someone over to check on things & fix the oven but we got nothing else to compensate. Very disappointing that they didn't care about such a thing!!!!

Reviewer Comments: overall the vacation house was really nice, there were a couple of things that needed a bit of maintenance but nothing too major, pros are location, really nice house, tons of space, nice pool and hot tub and just overall a great and solid house cons - downstairs master bathroom temperature control didn't work for shower, one shower head was ice cold the other was scalding hot, needs to be fixedthe light switches weren't working for some of the lights in the house but we got enough on where that wasn't too big of an issue

There were only 2 of us but it is the perfect place for several families with plenty of bedrooms and baths. We Will definitely rent again. The only suggestion: we would’ve liked to have had higher quality mattresses and bedding. We tried a bunch of beds until we found a bed that was comfortable enough to sleep in.

Great location, older house but has nice features. House was not cleaned well. Lacked some basics (no coffee filters). Only came with 2 kitchen towels, no tissues, one roll of toilet paper. This house was an alternative to my first choice, over all not a good experience.

Charming Beach House with Great Location and Unique Design

We had a fantastic large family group stay at this beach house! The location is convenient yet private, offering the perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion. The design of the house is both unique and creative, providing a fun and functional space that we thoroughly enjoyed. While we appreciated the overall experience, it's worth noting that the house has experienced some wear and tear over the years. There are no major issues, but we did notice several items that could use attention. The bathroom and kitchen fixtures, faucets (hot water & cold water issues), and appliances could benefit from a bit of maintenance. Additionally, a few of the lighting fixtures and trash disposal systems seemed to be showing their age. The pool cushions, too, were a bit worn out. Despite these minor concerns, our overall stay was wonderful. The character and charm of the house, coupled with its excellent location, made for a memorable vacation. With a little TLC, this beach house could easily be a five-star gem. Thank you for a lovely experience!

GREAT HOUSE IN NEED OF SOME TLC

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rentals will be rentals some better than others. We have rented large oceanfront homes on Hilton Head Island for 31 years. First time with this home. Home is large and designed great for large family gatherings. Immediately upon arrival we had some property issues. First floor master bedroom AC not working (79 degrees). Called PM and service technician arrived that evening. AC was fixed and service tech was very nice. Although, he commented that he knew what the problem was because he's been here over 40 times in the past three years and this home needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Hot water was not working in master bath shower. When turning on, the pipes vibrated and sounded like they were going to explode in the ceiling. The technician came out and said that they need to be replaced that they were clogged with hard water deposits. We wound up using the shower in a back hallway the entire week. Outdoor furniture has seen better days. Pool spa is cracked and leaking water at the brick which causes black and green slippery algae growth along the poll deck sides. Furnishings are average at best. The house is easy to locate when walking down the beach. Just look for the different colored roof shingles that were patched in on the roof. And yes, it's the only one with this condition 2.5 miles in each direction. All of this did not deter from us having another great family vacation. It just wasn't the house we had hoped for.
