The best views

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is nicely equipped. The view is amazing. Our 2 year old loved watching the rabbits and deer from the balcony. I’m only giving the stay 4 stars just because the a/c unit sounded like a loud generator running most of the time and likely needed some work.

Beautiful Ocean View

Overall I was very satisfied with my stay. My favorite was the ocean view and short walk to the beach! I arrived in the dark and lighting in the parking lot wasn’t well lit so I had trouble finding the elevator. I would definitely book this condo again!

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here. The beach was right out of our window and in walking distance. The condo was small but perfect for what we needed. Our only issue was some of the cleanliness. A lot of the utensils in the kitchen drawers appeared to still have food residue on them. The air flow in the bed room isn’t very good but we slept with the door open and the ceiling fan on and we were fine. Overall, it got the job done and we had a great time!

So close to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was clean, beach access was so close, adequate parking, ideal overall location on Hilton Head Island, ability to walk to Coligny Plaza. We truly enjoyed the covered balcony with Adirondack chairs. Although the property can sleep 6, we feel that it's best suited comfort and space-wise for a couple or a couple with 2 small children.

Great little Spring Getaway

We had a great visit to Hilton Head Island. Megan has a cute little condo in the perfect Oceanfront location near Coligny. Easy to walk to the grocery store, shops, restaurants and bars. We wanted to add an additional day to our stay and she was accommodating and made things super easy. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Seaside villa at south Forest Beach Drive

The overall experience was very good to excellent. We found pretty much everything we needed in the condo. We stayed in an end unit so the view was excellent and we could hear the waves from our living room / balcony all day. The access to the beach was the greatest amenity. You can walk to the beach on a boardwalk with your beach gear. We would go back again.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing stay! The rental was perfect. Amazing view and great location. Check in was easy and accurate and check out was just as seamless. Right on the beach with outdoor shower areas available. Communication with the host was very easy and timely. This was the perfect rental for my family. We will definitely be back!

Great location, but the place was very disorganized and they did not leave bedding for the pull out bed which we needed. The hallway with the bunk beds was very hot!! Otherwise, we had a great time.

Family vacation

We stayed for three nights and had a wonderful, short family vacation. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the condo complex is lovely. The owner of the unit is very responsive if anything comes up. Highly recommended when traveling to HHI.

Excellent location, close to Coligny, but still quaint.

The view from the balcony was our favorite part of this condo. It was so peaceful to open the sliding door and hear the ocean. Excellent location. We walked and biked everywhere! About a 5 min walk down the beach (or sidewalks) to get to Coligny plaza, which has SO many great restaurants, shops, ice cream stores, etc. We walked to every meal! We also biked the entire western side of the island right from the condo. You cross via the crosswalk to get to the well-maintained, shaded (!!) bike path, and you can bike all the way down to Sea Pines to check out the Salty Dog, Harbor Town, etc. It’s 4.25 miles by bike, so 8.5 miles round trip. The entire ride is on the bike paths. Needless to say, we loved the location. For the space itself, it’s your typical beachfront condo. Pretty tight and condensed, but the space is used fairly well. Bathroom/bedroom could use some brightening up, but you won’t be spending a lot of time in either. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Wonderful location for a beach stay

We needed a few days at the beach and this place filled our need. You can see the ocean from the patio and watch all the beach goers walk too and from the beach on the walkway. A much needed tent and some boogie boards are available for use in the condo. The space definitely has some age on it and we really would have liked to have laundry available in the unit, but like I mentioned before, all our 3 day beach weekend needs were met. This space held our 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 littles just right. We walked down to the Coligny Square every night for dinner and found plenty of entertainment, shopping, and places to eat. It’s about a half mile walk and was easy even with small children.

Needs refresh and change in cleaning service crews

The host will suggest we should have contacted her immediately upon arrival however, early into our first evening we tried to work around the issues we encountered. Later into and through the first night we felt the issues couldn't have been resolved during our stay and that we shouldn't have been impacted for the issues we encountered nor did we want to be tripping over a cleaning/maintenance crew while on our vacation in their rush to do the job right a second time. I recommend reading the first two reviews from 2020, we encountered much of the same issues. Dirty dishes, dirty shower/bathroom, questionable cleanliness of towels and bedding, and dust and debris throughout the rental. Uncomfortable beds, uncomfortable couch, and while it was in the 60°s during the weekend we stayed, the rental was quite hot and uncomfortable, even with the air conditioning and dehumidifier running. While we worked with the host to cancel our booking early the first morning, we received half the overall costs back while only staying for about 15 hours of a 3 night booking and left scrambling to pay an expensive holiday weekend rate at one of the only hotels with availability. While the location and view are good, I suggest an overall refresh and change in cleaning service crews.
