We had a wonderful stay at Isle of Pines with our family. The Sea Pines Country Club golf course view from the back of the house and deck is beautiful, especially in the morning and evening. The house comfortably slept 7 of us. The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is impeccably clean. Lots of wildlife sightings from the screened in porch. We enjoyed this especially in the evenings which kept the mosquitos out. Easy beach access at the Sea Pines Beach Club. We arrived by 8:40 each morning and had no problem with parking. We would definitely make a return visit.
The house was lovely and well stocked! Special shout out to the staff at 12 Isle, they were very helpful and welcoming! Thank you so much for all of your attentiveness and kindness!
This was our first time to Hilton Head Island and we arrived about 2 hours after Tropical Storm Idalia had passed through. Sea Pines in general is very dark at night (very little street lighting). This coupled with storm aftermath made it difficult to navigate for a first timer. I would suggest to plan your arrival for daylight. Communication from the host before arrival was great, though locating their office after hours in the dark to retrieve the gate passes was somewhat difficult. The house was much larger and more spacious than we expected and everything was clean and tidy. Our children said their beds were comfortable. Master bed wasnât terrible. Basic necessities were provided and appreciated. Sitting on the back deck is peaceful and quiet. The location in Sea Pines was farther away than we thought, but that was a good thing as it was away from the business near Harbor Town and is very close to Publix and Starbucks. We did see one dead and three living cockroaches in the house. The literature from the host calls them palmetto bugs, but this is simply just a colloquial name in the US Southeast for cockroaches. I reported this to the host and they scheduled an exterminator for after we left and offered to have them visit immediately if desired. This wasnât necessary, but the response and action from the host was appreciated.
We have rented houses in sea pines 2 other times and this was not very clean. There were only 4 rolls of toilet paper for 9 people. The internet didnât work even after I rebooted the router. The water temp was set very hot, so you had to be very careful not to burn yourself. Lastly, the dishwasher didnât clean the dishes, something was wrong with it because it never got hot enough.
We loved our stay! It was clean, wonderful location and the property manager was great at checking in. We especially loved the screened in patio. The dishwasher was a bit faulty- sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnât. But overall 10/10!
What a lovely home! It was even prettier in person than the pictures. We found the place to be clean and exactly as promised!
The beds weâre comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities! I thought I needed to bring much more than I actually did. This is refreshing and good to note for another time. For me personally, I would like to be closer to the beach next time, and that is purely personal preference.
The experience was great!
HHI never fails and our stay at Sea Pines made it even better! Our after hours check-in was super easy and we found our home to be exactly as pictured. Even with 9 of us, there was plenty of room for us all to have our space. Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay in this home. The layout worked well for our family. Kitchen is a good size and there was plenty of common area for hanging out together. It is a bit far from access to beach/pool so make sure you also rent bikes and a buggy for carrying beach chairs, umbrella, and other beach equipment. The South Beach pool which you have access to is very nice and usually quiet but is about a 15 minute car ride or a 30 minute bike ride.
