Over deze accommodatie

Minutes from the beach, with indoor hot tub

  • ** Snowbird/Offseason weekly and monthly special rates from Nov. 2026 - Feb. 2027.**

This 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage with hot tub - sleeps up to 6, and just a short ride to the beach! Features an indoor hot tub, and 2 kayaks are available to use.

Experience the seclusion and charm of an island paradise in coastal South Carolina. There is no bridge or causeway, so there are very few cars. Most use the public ferry or private boats to get on or off the island. Once on the island, golf carts and/or bicycles are the way to go.

This eclectic storybook cottage is located in the Historic District of Daufuskie Island, just minutes from one of the most secluded public beaches in America. Fish from the ocean shoreline or in the brackish marsh.

About the house itself: Quirky and comfortable, everything you need to feel at home is at your fingertips. This home features a bedroom and bath upstairs and downstairs, with two kitchens and two living areas, which is perfect for two families travelling together. Can sleep up to a total of 6.

The lower-level galley kitchen is equipped for everything you need for home-prepared meals, and the dining area seats 6 comfortably. Pocket doors provide the privacy for the lower master bedroom with a full-size bed, while the open floorplan of the upstairs bedroom features a queen-size bed and an additional futon.

The lower-level hot tub room and the upper-level deck both overlook an outdoor gazebo (great for a picnic lunch) and goldfish pond in the back yard. 600/50 Mbps Wi-Fi with Roku, Google Chrome and antenna television.

This cottage is non-smoking and no pets!

A washer and dryer is also available so you can pack lightly for an extended stay!

This little Cottage is an absolutely hidden gem! We arrived with part a of finding keys and gaining entry was already done for us. As we entered it was so warm and inviting with the walls and shelves filled with art and keepsakes of what I’m sure took years to acquire. As we ventured upstairs it was immediately claimed by my 15-year-old daughter and her friend. Not only would it serve as their sleeping quarters, but had its own kitchen and living room as well. The hot tub at some point was used by all it was a huge added plus. We did run the washer and dryer for one load and how cool was that! Reading through their guest book, it was not surprising at all to find all the favorable comments that guests over the years had written. What an amazing trip made even more special with our cottage living quarters. Love, love, loved it!!!

Absolutely amazing stay! I cannot say enough about this beautiful house! It was everything it advertised and more! Definitely takes some planning/coordinating (no cars, no groceries stores, etc) but that makes the experience that much more exciting! We are already planning for another stay next year!

Positief: Inchecken, communicatie
Negatief: Locatie
Host was very responsive and had all information easily accessible. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was very well stocked. The house is very eclectic and in need of some maintenance and a good deep cleaning. The area of the island the house is located in is less than desirable.

A piece of heaven

I visit the island a lot and currently purchased property to build on the island. I have always drove by this cute cottage and wanted to stay in it and when we found it on line I jumped in it to rent. It’s in a quiet peaceful part of the island that is just relaxing!!! Highly recommend owner was awesome to work with.
