The owner has thought of everything you could ever want in a VRBO. Large sliding glass doors in the main living area look into lush plants and trees- the beauty of that side of Hawaii.Gorgeous kitchen with quite a few small appliances i.e.3 different ways to make coffee. Beautiful bathrooms must be new.Thank you owner and manager!

The house and amenities were exceptional. I didn’t realize the owner was staying on property in a different home, however, they were lovely to interact with. The home is tech-heavy while being immersed in nature and the landscape around it. We would stay here again.

This house is the perfect rental. Besides being stunningly beautiful, the owner’s have made sure you have absolutely everything you need to make your stay special. We stayed for my mom’s 80th birthday, so I wanted a special house and we certainly got one. The moment we stepped in we were impressed by the beauty of the house and the setting. Outside there is lush landscaping with garden paths, outdoor shower and hot tub. Inside is beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen does not lack a thing for any kind of cooking you want to do. The bathrooms have heated bidet toilets and heated towel racks. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. It’s about 10 minutes from all the great restaurants in Hilo. We had a great stay and did not want to leave. Thank you for sharing this amazing house!

We have rented at least 20 homes in Hawaii on almost all the islands and this house is #1! The quality, attention to detail, everything in working order, detail instructions and information on all appliances and features of the home. The backyard is a botanical garden with beautiful accent lighting and winding pathways - quite the experience. Everything is high quality including the owners who offered us wine and food when the Tsunami warning hit and Hilo was gridlocked. Unforgettable experiance!!!! Don't miss this opportunity!

Amazing!

This property is beyond wonderful. Every convenience imaginable is provided. We loved the feel of being in our own private rain forest. I would highly recommend this property when visiting the island. We hope to return and enjoy it again!

This is your spa house! Second time staying

Absolutely loved this place, this was our second year staying there and it's such a relaxing place to be. Hilo is truly amazing and beautiful and this place lets you soak it all in. Smart home is awesome the hot tub the outdoor showers the backyard the lighting is relaxing. The managers and the owners are great!

Relaxing Tranquility

A secluded, relaxing tropical retreat! Built on lava rock and surrounded by lush vegetation made you feel like you were deep in the jungle. The house was amazing with more creatures of comfort than you could use! The hot tub and massage chair were awesome. A favorite time was spent relaxing and enjoying the view through the floor to ceiling windows. The best VRBO we’ve stayed in. Mahala!

One of a kind property in a great location.

The property is located in a nice residential neighborhood 10 minutes from downtown Hilo and 45 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. The yard is a botanical garden. This is a “smart house” with a lot of the current technology.

A relaxing get away

This rental was one of the best I stayed at! It was so peaceful and well thought out! The jungle is literally in your back yard. It was the longest I stayed inside my rental on vacation since it was so relaxing! The jacuzzi was the cherry on top!

Amazing home and property

The home and property are beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed walking through the spectacular garden and viewing it from inside through the large floor to ceiling glass sliding doors. The outdoor showers are great and we enjoyed the hot tub one rainy afternoon. The house itself is lovely, nicely decorated, very well organized and comfortable. The kitchen is superbly stocked and we enjoyed cooking some wonderful meals there. The location was perfect, close enough to Hilo but in a quiet, private neighborhood. The property manager and owners were very responsive. Highly recommend this property!

Unique Vacation stay- in a great way!

House was very clean and cool. Super private backyard and loved the outdoor showers. Convenient location for us and everything we wanted to do. If staying here you must have a car to get to and from. Would definitely stay here again!

The jungle noises at night were so loud we had to use subtitles on the TV if we wanted to watch a show, as we didn't want to close the screened glass doors and miss out on the outdoor vibe. It was a great experience, and totally different from a resort (which we did the previous several days). We stay here again.

Beautiful tropical retreat minutes from Hilo

We really enjoyed our stay at this unique property. We loved just sitting and looking out at the backyard which is like a tropical forest with paths available for walking, yet the property is in a neighborhood only 10 min from Hilo. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. The massage chair was enjoyed by all after hiking at the national park. This property is a great blend of nature and high tech with remote controlled ceiling fans and lighting in every room, high tech toilets and modern appliances. There is no air conditioning, and it was a bit hot in the afternoons, but it cooled off at night for sleeping. Check in/out was easy with the door code. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The only negative we noticed was light filtering blinds in the main bedroom, which could be a problem for some who need the room darker in the morning hours. Also, coqui frogs sing at night (I think across most of the island). Could be white noise for some but we used our earplugs to sleep.
