'This hotel is a few minutes from the station and the beach. Well organized and clean. People are very helpful. Kumano City is not a very touristic area and you need some basic Japanese. In the surroundings are beautiful nature trails along the coast and wonderful rice terraces in the mountains. The tourist information opposite the station has lots of valuable information, also in English. '

'Dit is een werkelijk prachtige oude Ryokhan, een absolute aanrader als je met de auto reist. Heel erg mooi gebouw en erg goed eten. De eigenaar was erg aardig. Goed te combineren met een wandeling in Odaigahara.'

'Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. We asked to be moved and got a new room which smellt like a mixture of smoke and peppermint airfreshener to hide it. At least in this room it was still manageable. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...
