'Great place to get away to relax and get away from city life. It is in a rural location so you will need to take your trash with you but the New Hope waste area is on your way out. We really got to decompress and enjoyed the house and all the activities. There are new homes being built nearby which are gorgeous to take the golf cart around and check out. If you like seclusion, fishing, and kayaking this is the place to be. '

'Our family take two mini vacations a year. This time we decided to do a non-tourist, non event kind of vacation. This property was perfect. The home was very tastefully decorated, and we enjoyed the host's personal art, which could be seen in every room. The layout of the home and the outside lent itself to a "stay home" kind of vacation, yet when someone needed space there was somewhere, inside or outside to go. 'My wife and dogs had a great time. Cabin was very clean and very cozy plenty of room nice and secluded. They have everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely would stay here again. My worked and i went fishing. no complaints from us if i had any critique at all it would be the internet is a little slow and spotty. but that's only because my wife had to work i could care less i personally didn't use it or even would so no complaint from me. I HAD A WONDERFUL STAY HIGHLY RECCOMEND...

'The house was very comfortable with everything you needed. Loved that you could walk to downtown Edenton and the waterfront. Would highly recommend!'

'It was close to perfect. Amenities were appropriate and plentiful. We enjoyed the front porch, using the grill, sitting on the back patio, sleeping in the quiet nights, swimming in the pool, using the laundry machines. It was easy to communicate with the owner.'

The washer and dryer was a definite plus as we were a family of 4 traveling for 10 days from Texas. The bed and bedding were nice and comfortable. The extra bed mat and bedding was comfy as well. 'The stay was quiet, relaxing, and great for a weekend stay. For those that enjoy some history, Edenton has it. There are plenty of photo opportunities throughout the downtown and surrounding residential areas.'

'Everyone was very helpful and the room was nice and clean. A laminated instruction sheet for the TV and Air Condition unit would have been very helpful. The internet codes as well. I'm an older lady and not very savy on these new things. Great experience overall and I'll stay here again for sure.'
