'We had a lovely long weekend at the Little Cottage. The cottage was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. It was a quick walk to the most amazing beach. Over and above this, Mandy &Rob were excellent hosts. Quick and easy communication, and they were happy to accommodate some extra requests we had. Hopefully we'll be able to come back again.'

'For our first trip to the Far North with our Aussie friends, having water views and a great location were key factors in selecting where to stay. As soon as we arrived, we knew we'd made the right decision. The bach has a charm of its own with its mismatched crockery, glasses, and comfortable couches, and reminded me of childhood summers spent in New Zealand. There's no need to turn on TV when you can simply sit on the deck and enjoy the scenery. The only downside was the BBQ, which we didn’t...

'Great location to explore the top end of Northland as easy access to the Cape, the dunes, ninety mile beach and the gumdigger park without having a super long day. Everything was seamless from checkin to checkout, was well appointed and comfortable, and a location with easy access to a cafe/bar and grocery store until 8pm. Shell Cottage could easily be called home for more than the one night we had time for. '
