"Our stay at the hotel had several highlights, but also some important drawbacks.
Before arrival, I requested garage parking several days in advance, as it was essential due to my husband’s illness and the main reason we chose this hotel. We wanted to avoid dragging our suitcases through the city. Unfortunately, the request was not granted, and we were only informed upon arrival. There was no prior communication by email, which was disappointing.
The hotel itself is lovely, and the room was clean and nicely presented. However, having paid over €40 extra for a higher-category room, it felt rather basic, quite small, and comparable to standard rooms elsewhere. It did not fully meet expectations for an upgrade.
A major issue was the temperature in the room. It was extremely hot upon arrival, and despite lowering the heating, it remained uncomfortable throughout the night, resulting in poor sleep. Each time we returned, the air felt heavy. Due to my husband’s condition, opening the windows was not an option.
On the positive side, the location is perfect, the staff were friendly and professional, the breakfast was excellent, and the complimentary welcome sweets were a thoughtful touch.
