'Premier Inn is a nice hotel; there is a McDonalds across the street which is convenient. The hotel does not have air conditioning so depending on the time of year that you visit it could be an issue. We were there in October, so it was not an issue. The restaurant was good. The beer taps were not working when we were there, but they had bottled beer so that was not a big thing. I would recommend the ribs. The brunch buffet is okay. The coffee machine was broken when we were there so that...

'Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. We found their restaurant had a...

'Great location for a getaway. Stockbridge was a hidden gem for us. Well kept pub type hotel with a large room and at a good price. Decent breakfast.'

'Heerlijk rustig, Lekker eten. Zeer goed prijs/ kwaliteit'

'We had a lovely stay at The Great Decoy. The weather was horrible unfortunately, but the pub was very cosy and welcoming with lovely open fires. Lovely food, great decor, lovely attention to detail including the gorgeous smelling toiletries provided. The bed was very comfy with lovely bedding. We will definitely return and also try out other pubs in the Chickpea Group.'

'Het ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid. Er waren verschillende soorten vers fruit, warme gerechten en nog veel meer. Erg vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was heel klein en warm. We hadden een piep klein raam daardoor kwam er weinig frisse lucht binnen. De matras was smal en oud. Je voelt de veren erdoor komen. Ik zou niet meer terug gaan naar dit hotel.'

'Schoon, goed ontbijt, vriendelijk '

'I couldn't make one single negative comment about this place, it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were first rate and the pool was a great bonus. The views in every direction were stunning.'

'Wij kwamen pas begin van de avond aan, en werd vriendelijk ontvangen door de dame van de receptie. Kamer was op de bovenste verdieping en was schoon en zag er mooi uit. Wij hebben daar ontbeten. Er was een ruime keuze eten en drinken. Was erg lekker. Zeker een aanrader.'

'Nice hotel ...although the link with the manor house is not always clear: it's basically a large, well kept hotel on the same premises.'
