'Vlak voor onze aankomst kregen wij bericht dat de schoonmaakster die ochtend door een ongeluk niet kon komen. We hebben toen zelf schoongemaakt. De eigenaar heeft ons daarvoor 50 pounds terugbetaald. Vandaar de matige score bij "netheid" De woning is mooi groot en gelegen op de 1e etage met een moderne keuken en drie slaapkamers met prima bedden. Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer en slaapkamers is prachtig. De woning ligt vlak bijzet centrum van Rothesay, de grootste plaats op Bute. Dat eiland is...

'Our host Steven was very welcoming with early communications and in person. There is a nice view through the picture window of the loch just across the road. And just next door was a lovely gift shop and restaurant with wonderful scones. My only regret is that I didn't book a few more days.'

'It was extremely clean and well maintained. In a quiet are about 10 mins walk from the town centre. The oven worked well and the shower was hot.The beds comfortable if a tiny bit soft.The view were excellent from the front windows.The homemade Marmalade was perfect and the other welcome gifts a nice touch.Not really any outside space that was useable to sit out on. Not that we needed to anyway.'

'Having been to Oban several times, I knew that we wanted to be in the center town to be able to walk from the train station, and to all the restaurants and shops. This couldn’t be more central! The location is fantastic and it’s perfectly appointed for stays. Communication was fantastic - clear and timely. Natalie even addressed a quick concern which wasn’t even something they were responsible for (area internet outage). Very pleasant stay. Note that you can hear auto traffic if that’s a concern...

'De omgeving van de cottage en het verblijf hebben we als heel fijn ervaren. Je hebt daar alles wat je nodig hebt , alles is op loopafstand en wil je dingen in de buurt bezichtigen kun je heel gemakkelijk rondkomen met het openbaar vervoer. De rust, stilte en uitzicht heeft ons aangenaam verrast. Wil je je onttrekken van de dagelijkse hectiek is dit de perfecte plek.'

'Myself and a friend escaped busy Edinburgh out here for the peace, quiet and of course the views. So much to see out here. From the beach house to the ride around to the nearby towns. The views are gorgeous. Makes you want to just stay .'

'The apartment we stayed was perfect for what we wanted. It's quiet and calm and is quite roomy. The two chairs are perfectly placed to drink coffee in the morning looking over the waterfront and the mountains on the other side. The fact that Morrisons was in walking distance was also pretty good. The bed was comfortable and our dog was also pretty happy. It's definetly worth it!'
