« we had a great stay breakfast was fantastic, only slight moan parking outside sometimes was unavailable , but there is a pay and display car park very close buy so when a space became available outside i moved my car . »

« We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. »

« Hôtel de passage se situant sur notre trajet (pour une nuit). Concept original avec cette chambre située dans la cour intérieure d'un pub-restaurant. Hôtel un peu vétuste (mais en travaux), à la limite de la propreté dans les communs mais bonne surprise avec une grande chambre refaite et meublée à neuf. Bonne literie et déco sympa. Petit parking intérieur et terrasse sympa. Petit déjeuner un peu gras, à l'image des odeurs émanant de la cuisine... Un bon rapport qualité pour une nuit. »

« The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. »

« Ok, so there was an issue with the room when arrived but after speaking with the hotel manager this was very quickly resolved whilst we enjoyed a complimentary drink and took ourselves on a quick tour of the stunning Rudloe Arms and grounds. The main building and its decor is fantastic and worth a trip just to see it. Later that evening, we had a dinner reservation where we were greeted warmly by a really attentive restaurant crew. « The welcome was friendly and check in efficient. The room was delightful - room 3. The evening meal was simply delicious and very fairly priced. Breakfast was tasty and filling and all you needed. Good quality bacon. The little shop had lots to tempt for early Xmas presents too. We wish the business all the best, will recommend to everyone we know and will be back soon. »
