Nicely decorated and clean. Host was friendly. The only thing is we didn't realize it was a basement apartment as we had searched for 'whole house.' There was some upstairs noise, but not awful. Overall a nice place to stay.

This is a gem of a find if you want a clean and cozy spot to stay! Michael and Jo were gracious hosts and easy to communicate with. The place was PRISTINE - the photos don't do it justice! There was not a a speck of dust or a single hair in place. I was honestly shocked by how clean a pet friendly listing could be! There was also no mildewy/damp smell you so often get in properties so close to the water. There were no bugs and no dusty corners. Michael explained he used hospital grade air filters in the home, and you can definitely tell! The home was very well stocked with linens and there were plenty of kitchen tools if you wanted to make a simple meal. Michael and Jo also provided a bunch of recommendations for local eats. At the risk of limiting our ability to stay here again - If you are considering a stay in the area, do not overlook this listing!!!

This was an amazing place! Our hosts were so kind so knowledgeable so friendly. The property was absolutely beautiful. Had everything we could imagine beautiful views, The bed was comfortable we had more than enough pillows, blankets towels everything you could possibly imagine. The owners pretty much opened their home to us. They were welcoming to us and to our dog. We had an absolutely wonderful time if you were looking for a place to stay in Cape Cod stay here, stop looking for a place to stay you have found it, stay here, you will not be sorry!

We enjoyed our stay in Harwich in this wonderful place. The hosts are very nice and there is lots to do in that area. There is an excellent place to walk the dogs right down the road called Thompson's field. This is our 2nd year staying here and the unit is always very clean and comfortable. A Perfect Stay!We had a truly wonderful experience at this property. The home was immaculately clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. our family - including our dog - loves coming back to buck's pond! the hosts are so nice and the house is always clean and well stocked. morning coffee on the patio overlooking the pond lit with the morning light and afternoons on beach enjoying the warm water before heading out to dinner at our local faves brax landing, aplaya and 3 monkeys.

Lovely Time

First time I've ever booked through VRBO (or any other online system) and I was a little nervous about the whole thing but ....The place was a perfect stay for myself and two 14 year olds .... the clean pond was perfect for the teens who took advantage of it a few times; if we had more time they would have been in it more. Being able to use the grill a few times was great Location was perfect to the beach and quick drives Orleans for paddlebpoarding and Yarmouth for mini golf. My daughter said she did not want to leave and wanted to come back again next year - high praise indeed from a teenager!

A friend and I stayed for 2 nights and found the lodging to be quite comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the full bathroom was spacious and clean. While we didn't use the kitchen, it seemed well stocked. The reclining chair and large screen TV with wrap around sound was nice to return to. I have a bad back and it helped to relieve my aches and pains. Overall, we found the lodging very nice and we would return again. We had a busy schedule and didn't have time to try the kayaks, gas grill, etc but it was lovely to look out on the adjacent pond and take in the pretty scenery. Guests should be aware that they will have to lift their luggage over a small flight of steps and across crushed stone and flagstone as they make their way from the driveway to the rear of the property and entry to the first floor apartment.

Prime Location-Amazing Views-Gracious HospitalityWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jo and Mike's property. A real gem! It was very comfortable and well appointed with all the necessities and extras too. The location is a nice, walkable neighborhood and central to all the Cape has to offer. The large windows and sliding doors provided wide views of the lake and the covered patio was the perfect spot for relaxing. The owners reside upstairs but there was minimal noise heard below in the apartment. Jo and Mike were friendly and respectful of privacy- even texting before mowing the lawn and waiting until we were off property to do so. Unfortunately it wasn't the greatest weather during our stay (any day at the Cape is a good day though) so we did not take advantage of the kayaks/canoe/fishing gear included with the rental. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.

Second visit to this special place

This property is centrally located on a pretty pond (unfortunately, no swimming there during our stay this year or last). Spacious, clean, lovely accommodation. Mike and Joe are most hospitable and immediately responsive to any and all requests. Next year, I hope to return with my daughter, her husband, my grand-puppies, and maybe a grandchild as well!

Charming & cozy

My family and I (wife, son, mother) really enjoyed our stay with Jo, Mike & Daisy ....woof woofThis is a basement apartment that is furnished very nicely, with a lot of privacy.The TV / surround sound is great to watch movies at night on. The windows face the sunset for a great view. The kitchenette is small but has everything you need and has new everything. It doesnt feel like an old tired VRBO listing in anyway, they were welcoming when we arrived and even put out beach chairs for us to use. The beach is a short drive as is the supermarket and plenty of restaurants. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Wonderful stay

The hosts provided a wonderful experience for my daughter and I. While we were only staying overnight for a morning fishing charter on Cape Cod, they provided so many accommodations for an enjpyable stay to include many things which we were unable to enjoy due to our short time there. When arriving late after a 8.5 hour drive, the lights were on which we really appreciated since it was our first time staying. Our other daughter will be staying with the Schribman's in August and we will certainly be in contact for all of our future visits to the area. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality.

Serene Retreat

This was our second stay with Jo,Michael and Daisy, and we enjoyed our "home away from home". The apartment was just as described, very comfortable with a beautiful view.
