B&B in Hampshire

'vriendelijke ontvangst, eigenaar is zeer gastvrij en hartelijk en ze doen al het mogelijke om je thuis te voelen.Prima ontbijt. Enige opmerking, is dat men bezig is een stuk aan het B&B aan te bouwen. Uitbreiding van 3 naar 11 kamers. Daardoor is de entree nogal rommelig. Men hoopt voor de Kerst klaar te zijn met verbouwing'

'Very basic hotel, check in was very limited with no info on hotel dining or other facilities. Not shown to the room and found no hand soap in bathroom. There was shower gel and shampoo. The room overlooked outside drinking and smoking area and could smell smoke if window open. All furniture was old and some pieces had been mended. Floor boards loose in some places. Admittedly the building is old and has character, but TLC required. '

'We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again'

'We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! '

'We really enjoyed our stay - the room had everything we expected for a B&B stay and more. There were some lovely touches that stood out such as fresh milk from the farm, and we found the breakfast room really homely. Janet was also a brilliant host who made sure we had everything we needed'
