Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage on the west side of Waneta Lake. Just steps away from the water and only minutes from wineries, restaurants, hiking, and more, this is the perfect location for a Finger Lakes getaway.

This property promises cottage vibes and lake views with a large porch overlooking Waneta Lake just steps away. With the house located on Waneta’s west side, morning light streams into the open living and dining area through the large glass doors. Guests will enjoy the recently remodeled kitchen and coffee bar. The house has two bedrooms and additional sleeping on a couch that converts to a Full bed (best for kids - it's not soft!). It’s a great size for families or couples. You can even bring your furry friend!

In summer, guests can enjoy outdoor dining on the deck, a large fire pit, easy access to a private lakefront and dock, and a yard for games like cornhole. In cooler weather, the house stays cozy with baseboard heat and a propane stove.

The house sits on a quiet road with very little traffic. It is nice for walking or running. Parking is easy with a large driveway. The house is about 2 miles from a public boat launch, and the lake is great for fishing, kayaking, boating, and more!

If you are bringing your own boat, please note that the property does not have a boat lift, so you will need to be prepared to anchor to the shore. The dock is not sturdy enough to tie a boat up for an extended period of time.

This property is a great central location between Keuka and Seneca Lakes. It’s an easy drive to Watkins Glen and Hammondsport. Just a short drive away, you’ll find charming towns with a variety of shops and restaurants; wineries, distilleries, and breweries; amazing hiking trails and waterfalls; farm markets; Horseback Riding and activities for all ages.
