'We booked in Caen for several weeks prior to the Marathon de la Liberte. The location was an easy walk to the SNCF station, Les Rives de l'Orne shopping area and the Prairie. Nice walk to city center and points of interest. Easy access to public transit. Wonderful bakery just around the corner. Saturday morning market several blocks away.We made good use of the washing machine in the kitchen. The fridge does not have a freezer, but had sufficient room for perishables. Good Wi-Fi service....

'We enjoyed a great holiday at “la ferme manoir”. The owners are amicable and helpful, and they did an outstanding job in restoring the whole manor. We enjoyed the large living room with a six metres ceiling and the well-equipped kitchen. Both bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The location is only a five minutes drive, or fifteen minutes walk from the historical city centre of Bayeux. The tennis court was our favourite spot in the morning.
