  • Twee verdiepingen tellende kalkstenen woning uit de 19e eeuw, 3 mijl buiten de schilderachtige Guttenberg IA aan de rivier de Mississippi. Onlangs gerenoveerd huis. Wandelpaden, visvijvers, groot terrein voor het parkeren van boten. Drie mijl van Mississippi en Turkije toegang tot de rivier. Clayton County is een ATV-vriendelijk rijden is toegestaan op alle provinciale wegen. Buizen beschikbaar voor gebruik op de kalkoen. Grote schuur beschikbaar voor dansen, huwelijksrecepties, verjaardagsfeestjes, klassenbijeenkomsten etc.

Great location and the cutest house! Bedrooms were all very spacious, great kitchen and eating area for our family! All the amenities you could need - so fun to look around the farm and was close to Guttenberg. We have always wanted to stay here and so glad we finally got the chance!

House is a remodeled turn of the century 1900s) farmhouse, with plenty of history and modern touches. Everything we needed to be comfortable was provided. Beautiful property and close enough to town to explore. Enough bedrooms for 8. Quiet place to relax. Will stay again!

Beautiful rural setting

Delightfully easy check-in, clean and spacious farm house, beautiful front porches, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and hiking trails for a morning walk! Wish we had more than 1 night here to enjoy the property more, but it was great.

Back again

Another great stay at Fritz’s Farmhouse. It’s always a wonderful time motorcycling in northeast Iowa and the farmhouse is a true treasure. The family is so welcoming and feels like coming home every time we come to Iowa.

An amazing old farm house restored with modern touches

We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race.

Family Memorial weekend

We really enjoyed the farm. The kids went and did some fishing in the pond and we made s’mores over the fire pit. It was a great time and it felt like home.

Great Rental!

Well worth the rate, flexible check-in and check-out times, Brian was easy to work with, short drive into Guttenberg which was important due to the reason we came - for a funeral. Highly recommend.

Had fun riding bikes in the Driftless. Love the cozy and cute 1800s farmhouse. Good experience.

Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.

Girls trip celebrating 56 years since our high school reunion

We all had a great time on the farm . Brian was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed . So enjoyed the four wheeler and driving around the farm . We will return next year 😍

Magical Experience

This was one of my very best one on Monday patients with my fiance. It was more than a home away from home. The views were spectacular, sunset and sunrise. We really enjoyed the pond. I paddle boarded while he fished and we just felt so relaxed. It was a great location close to town, wineries, and the river. I absolutely recommend staying!

Clean and comfortable

This was a wonderfully renovated old farm house. The antiques that were used in the decor told quite a story of farm history. The house was clean and comfortable. My teens enjoyed exploring down by the ponds and taking photos of the horses and chickens that where in the area. The property was within driving distance to Dubuque, Pikes Peak, and Prairie Du Chien. A great, comfortable place to stay to visit the picturesque Iowa countryside.
