« This was exactly the stay that we needed. It allowed us to get away from all the hustle and bustle of daily life. The water was beautiful and the drive attractions was a short distance given the remoteness of the cottage. I wish the dock would have been up but regardless it was a great experience and would highly recommend. »

« We had a great time! The cabin was decorated above and beyond, perfect for snowy days. Easy check in and the cabin was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Everything was provided in the cabin, no details missed. Bring your clothes and meals and you’ll have it made. There are neighbors close to the cabin, but no one was around. Very quite and peaceful. « Just what we were looking for! Spring in the UP didn’t disappoint. Beautiful weather and area for hiking, exploring, fishing and chilling by the bonfire. What a cozy place right on the water and we got to bring our fur babies too. Kathy and Larry are so accommodating, we were treated like family and had everything we needed. « I enjoyed much about the property and was very excited for a good kitchen and comfortable layout. My only real complaints are the sink felt small to do dishes in. As well as the cabin is beautifuly decorated but it leaves little counterspace for day to day living. »

« Twin beds are very comfortable and have stable frames. (no rickety beds here!) There are 2 additional cots available as well. The en suite bathroom has safety rails and a built in seat which was perfect for my 78 year-old mother. The front steps are a bit of a challenge if you have any mobility difficulties.
