First class top to bottom. Location was the best we have seen in the area and everything was clean and new.

Check in was easy. The door to the master bedroom going outside to the balcony was broken and couldn’t be locked. The place could’ve been cleaner. It was like the people who cleaned the place. Didn’t really take pride in their job. The pots and pans had food stuck in them from the previous guest, which is also gross. Upon leaving, we found a dead roach in the living room, which is disgusting. Being close to downtown was convenient when it wasn’t raining. Walking in the rain to go to your car sucks.

Furnishings

Beds are made for giants, living room furniture was made for very short people. One of the beds sounded like it was going to break with every move. The kids bedroom had no lighting other than overhead, the beds in there were also too tall for an older, 5'2" person to get into without a step. TV in one bedroom did not work. The bar stools are too tall to use at the counter. There is no room for your thighs and they are so tall they are not functional except for maybe a young child helped up there to sit. Frying pan was nasty. Baseboards, air intake and big glass dining light needed to be dusted. #1 complaint i heard multiple times a day was about how short and uncomfortable the couch was. It was difficult for even normal height people to get up from. I didn't even try it. States handicap accessible, which was true in theory. The elevator was accommodating and door width allowed for a wheelchair to get in and mostly move around but it was in no way ada compliant. Had suction cup grab bars but they didn't work on the wavy tile. On the surface it looks great, but spend a day or two and you find it is not decorated for comfort. Kitchen was sufficiently outfitted. Fridge was clean. Location was great to be able to walk places. The hang out was super loud only one night. Would i stay there again? Maybe, if the furniture issues are resolved and handicap needs are addressed.

Absolutely the best

This will be my go to in gulf shores! We stayed in 301. Clean large rooms throughout with amazing views, floor to ceiling windows. Restaurants and shopping are in walking distance. It was perfect for a sister’s getaway. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Love this Location and Condo!

This is our second year to stay at 301 Gulf Place and we love it! My friend has two daughters that she takes and I take my daughter and niece and we love it! I park my car when we arrive and don't get back in my car till we leave as everything that we need/want is within walking distance. Already planning our third annual trip next year in this condo! The host is great and answers super quickly! GREAT GREAT condo

Family getaway

The property is exactly as shown. Clean, spacious and very lovely. The pool area is beautiful. The ping pong room had a small kitchen and other games, that was a nice surprise. You can hear the music from the Hangout but that ends at 10. My family loved this place and I was so happy we found it.

Gulf Place is Great!

Other than a couple small maintenance inconveniences, this was one of the nicest places we have stayed at on a beach vacation! The condo was perfect for our multiple family getaway, the beach was just steps away along with multiple restaurants and shops. Parking was not right next to the building but it didn’t matter much because we rarely needed the car. The noise from the hangout being next door didn’t really bother us much and we enjoyed listening to the live bands in the evenings.

Great stay

Property is new and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Location was very convenient with access to shopping, grocery, restaurants and the beach. Noise from the Hangout directly across the street would be a consideration for some, but overall something we didn't have a major issue with.

This condo was absolutely perfect for my family. From fun night life, local shops, yummy dining, to quiet sunsets looking out at the ocean. For a home type feel this is your place!! Look forward to our next stay in the Gulf!!

Enjoyed our stay and properrty was beautiful. There are a couple things that need repair in Bathroom 1, nearest the kitchen. the shower handle and shower faucet were loose. Not a complaint, just an FYI. Would love to Have this property again!!

Great place

Condo was outstanding from the location to the cleanliness to the communication. The only minor thing was there were having trouble to keep door secure, but I talked to the security guy he reported it. Usually there was a security person down there while they were having problems with the door. Would definitely recommend as well as do a return visit.

Excellent location and facility

We loved the condo and loved the location. I disagree with the reviews about noise - we never had a problem. I loved having the store downstairs, the beach steps away, and being next to all the fun shops and The Hangout. Owner is very responsive and kind. 10/10 would recommend.

Great property

The unit was clean and felt new. The kitchen was large and open making meal prep easy. The large windows looking out towards the beach were a plus as was the balcony. Our family really enjoyed our time there. Management was professional. We would definitely book here again.

Wonderful location and condo but..

Our party's one complaint is the lack of heat in the "heated pool". Talking with the staff the pool heat has not worked since it was built which is a bummer. The view from the top deck is stunning and with some sun it's warm enough. This is a perfect spot for those interested in walking to the beach, shops, or restaurants. The HangOut being next door is wonderful for those who like live music, have children, or just want someplace to people watch.
