Nice and quiet great feel to the place, it was 30 plus degrees and you were able to keep cool in your room with doors at each end of your room , looking forward to staying again.
Only issues we had was two of the chairs in the unit had blown springs and were very uncomfortable to sit on. When there's 3 staying for 9 nights we can't all sit on the couch.
Comfortable clean warm cabin .
Close to all of Greytown , Featherstone and Martinbirough, but out of the hustle and bustle.
Well worth having a nest here to visit the southern wairarapa and come back to every night.
Will definitely recommend them and stay there again!
Very pleased with our last minute booking of this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. The owner was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The room was a good size, clean and modern, with the usual facilities. It was situated a small walk from town past the boutique chocolate shop! There were plenty of good dining and shopping options in town which ensured we had a great break away. Would definitely stay here again.

Bad bed
We enjoyed our stay but felt we slept on the bed base and not the mattress awaking both mornings with stiffness and pains. We overlooked telling the motel our feelings when we checked out. Would only go back again if we were assured of a good nights sleep. The shower is old fashioned and my wife could not adjust to her liking. Could do with a simple shower stick for better cleanliness and convenience. Otherwise good motel.
The motel was quite, ambience was good and location was just what we need for a visit to Cape Palliser.
What a great motel! I really appreciate an operator that takes pride in their business, and this motel reflects this attitude. Clean & comfortable rooms, hospitable staff and a good location on the way to Wellington. I would be happy to stay here again.
