Cottage getaway

We had a great girls weekend! We especially enjoyed the well stocked game cabinet, the sunroom, the fireplace, and watching sunsets from the dock. Great location walking distance to Gresham and a quick drive to the cute shops in Shawano.

Beautiful Place!

The check-in process was smooth and the host was kind, professional, and super easy to contact. This was my first time renting from VRBO and the host made it easy and less stressful. The cabin itself was easy to find and beautiful. I was really impressed with the kitchen supplies available. They even had charcuterie knives which was obscure and really handy.Lots of game options in the game cabinet. And the front three season room was absolutely beautiful. The main reason I chose this cabin was the wonderful LONG table. Perfect for puzzling, gaming, and just spending time together. Overall, I enjoyed my stay! Thank you!!

Weekend Celebration

The house was so cute and absolutely perfect for our needs. Ben has the house well stocked with everything you need for cooking, and for hanging out outside for a relaxing weekend. The communication with Ben was fantastic. We ran into a couple of smaller issues with the house but Ben went above and beyond with doing what he could to correct the problems. It is definitely a place I would stay again.

Generally great with a couple of nits for those traveling with infants and toddlers. One was on cleanliness - had some dust around beds that we needed to proactively vacuum (there was one provided) given our younger son is very exploratory, and we observed some mold in the washing machine as well. Second is that the spiral staircase is slightly hazardous for young kids who may be able to slip between balusters. But otherwise, location is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Worth the trip

The property was definitely a 5 star and above! Beautiful cottage with every amenities that we needed for our group. Our family enjoyed every moment on the lake. The owner was super helpful and made our stay so welcoming! We will definitely book again for our family vacation next year! Awesome place!

Perfect for our group!

This property had everything we needed and more! It is beautifully renovated with adorable decor. It was perfect for our group. 3 bedrooms on the inside plus the sunroom with the pullout bed was great for our stay. In addition the 2 bedrooms in the garage were great for our family with a toddler. Had so much fun fishing in the lake and caught so many fish!! We went to the shawano county park/beach one day and that was amazing. Got ice cream at the snack bar there too. We went to Gilmer Falls twice during our week! About a 10 minute walk but totally worth it! We stayed for hours swimming, going down the falls and playing on the rope swing. We enjoyed the gorgeous views at night sitting around the fire looking out at the lake! I would recommend this home to anyone! We had an amazing and relaxing vacation!

Great Girls Getaway

Our group loved our stay at the cabin. It was loaded with everything we needed and more. Very clean and we loved the space. Was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen, dining and living area were all open as the pics looked a little different. Property Manager was very accommodating and communicated quickly. Couldn't be more happy with our experience!

I have to admit that I too saw the other reviews and had a hard time believing that this place could get a 10/10 from all the other reviewers. But I'm afraid I have to agree! This place is a 10/10! There wasn't a thing that these owners haven't thought of. There are towels, coffee, condiments, games, toys, toiletries etc. Everything we needed was ready for us in this cottage! Beautiful, spacious, clean, modern, peaceful and quiet. We had an absolutely lovely time relaxing here with our family. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and for putting so much effort into making our stay a memorable one! We will definitely stay again if we get the chance!
