Great location but very awkward and small. Not to mention very dirty. There were two towels total for five of us staying in the unit and unfortunately many of their dishes and cooking supplies are broken and missing and or very dirty. I made the mistake of not reading the entire listing and you are attached to the ownerâs cabin and our kids could hear them walking above them and flushing the toilet all night. If there are only a few of you staying just a couple of nights and donât need to be preparing food then this could be the place for you, but we ended our trip early just to get home.
Giving it 4 stars because as a latina Id hate to squash on someones small business.
BUT...
Ancient towels were a downer. The towels are so hard they feel crusty.
The bathroom in guest quarters smells musty or mildewy. Yuck.
The rug needs cleaning, I normally never wear shoes inside a home but the rugs in the guest quarters looked like they havent been washed, ever. Shoes were worn.
NOR THE PILLOWS OR BED HAD PROTECTIVE CASES. Just regular non matching cases with pillows sticking out. Who knows how many heads or bodies have slept on that mattress with no sheets or cases.
I had to do a bedbug check. I dont understood why it didnt have protective bed bug sheets, they're not expensive.
I didnt use the kitchen area so I cant comment on that.
I showed up after hours and was left a note at the check in office with a small like small small blurry map to the cabin. Please upgrade your maps quality. We pay good mula to crash there.
Im sure the place has potential. Maybe. I wouldnt stay here again.
This was a perfect little cabin for our weekend getaway. Close to the trails for our horseback rides, and had stables onsite. Less than 30 mins from Sunrise Ski Resort. Gorgeous surroundings, super comfy beds, and a quiet location made for a great weekend!
This place was amazing we read reviews that made a bit skeptical however traveling has shown us that some people are just tough to please. This cabin is extremely beautiful and the land is even more beautiful especially during the snow months everything worked great the kids had a blast, the staff were extremely accommodating. Just about everything we needed was provided. It was the first time my younger son seen snow I'm glad it was here. I will be returning.
Beautiful guest house but itâs just too small for
6 people. The second bedroom is dark and cold, no windows and it only has a very tiny heater to heat a space that can sleep up to 4 people. The common area looks spacious in the picture but itâs terribly small, the sofa has seen better days. Overall, I wouldnât stay in that tiny space again.
We really enjoyed ourselves the cabin was nice we would have liked the tv to be in living room area rather then kitchen! We really didnât like doing our own housekeeping we understand we should pick up after ourselves but after paying a pretty penny to stay there then having to do our own housekeeping seems unreasonable!!! Overall it was nice some cabins should be no pets and others should be pets allowed not everyone enjoys pet hair on rugs!!! Also propane empty on bbq grill!!!
There was flies and spider webs everywhere. Dead flies in the windows. The shower was very small and the shower head was very hard and couldnât be changed. It was like a oven in there and no way to run it off we had to stand on the chair and close the vents.
The grounds were well manicured and the pond was a plus. Kept my children entertained for hours. The cabin was very cute inside and the beds were comfy. The shower was a bit tiny, but we didnât die staying clean. And for sure the heater works, a little too well. Had to open the window to cool off at night, but the fresh mountain air was a plus!
We never received the wifi password. When we mentioned this to the property manager, we were told we needed to go ask the renters/strangers next door for this (not our responsibility). The shower head is lousy but the worst part is there was a horrible dead animal smell in the downstairs bedroom. I tossed and turned the entire first night. I had to sleep on the couch the second night as the smell made me nauseous. The location and pond were the only positive things about this stay. I reported this to the manager so hopefully something will be done.
We really enjoyed the location and the cabin, however the heat was on full blast ( we have zero control over it) so it became quite hard to breathe at night. To add to that the bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were super thin and hard. So sleep quality was all around terrible.
