Loved everything about this beautiful hotel - the staff was genuinely gracious and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning. The swimming pool and restaurant are also fabulous.

Lovely hotel, great restaurant
Overall had a lovely stay. The room (deluxe double) was comfortable and a decent size. Bathroom clean. Nice balcony with view of the city. It’s a ten minute walk down to the town (steepish walk back). Staff super friendly and helpful. Got lots of recommendations on where to eat, visit etc. The hotel restaurant is very good - our lunch and two dinners there among the best food we had here in Sifnos and Athens. Drinks a little pricey. We were there very end of September and so there was limited availability on some things (e.g. no red wine, even though there was plenty in all the supermarkets around…). Transfer to and from the port was expensive I thought. Pool was lovely. The hotel restaurant had a wasps nest I think - so all the wasps buzzing about from morning to evening in the restaurant made it uncomfortable for me. But this didn’t seem to bother others. Aside from that though we enjoyed our time here.

Great stay on Sifnos
A chic hotel with top notch service and attention to detail, Nival is an excellent place to stay on Sifnos. It is centrally located and offers very comfortable amenities.

Disappointing and a No no
We were there in the middle of the summer and they’ve hacked the AC so it won’t cool below 23 C. So you come back in an oven of a room in the afternoon and it takes more than an hour for it to feel cooler. I wouldn’t expect this from a hotel I paid $500 to stay at. Location is central, easy walk to Apollonia. However the road in front is a busy one, not exactly relaxing to sit on the balcony. The pool has been renovated so looks pretty but honestly the umbrellas don’t provide any shade at all, making the pool hard to hang out by. Breakfast was ok, we were told everything is “fresh” from the little garden they have but it didn’t seem so, maybe just the tomatoes in the salad, everything else was like what you’d get in any other (much cheaper) hotel.

Staff at Nival are super helpful. Delicious breakfast each morning. Just a quick note about Sifnos.. you probably want to rent a car to see the whole island. The pick up shuttle service is fantastic and the staff was easily able to help us rent a car for the next two days. Apollonia is the place to stay and the restaurant Drimoni just down the street is delicious. One of our favorite meals while in Greece. Everything was gorgeous here.

We loved this property! The staff was friendly, nice and extremely accommodating. It was conveniently located within walking distance to one of the main villages. Other areas a car was needed. Overall, it was great! We would definitely recommend this property and would like to return to Sifnos to explore other areas. Our stay was too short.

The staff was wonderful and very responsive. Location was a walkable distance into town. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, but got the job done. Pool area was relaxing. Obviously, hotel is inland, so don’t expect views of the ocean. I would happily stay here again.

Magnifique hôtel très bien situé
2 nuits très agréables passées dans ce magnifique hôtel tout neuf et meublé avec goût. La piscine est superbe. L’espace petit-déjeuner en face est splendide aussi. La chambre que nous avions avait un balcon avec une magnifique vue sur le village en face et la piscine sur le côté. L’accueil était très agréable et nous avons adoré nos deux nuits passés sur cette île qui est vraiment paisible et douce. Nous recommandons cet hôtel et y retournerons !

We had a great stay at Nival hotel. They went out of their way to help us when my husband injured his ankle. The staff is fantastic and super friendly. The hotel is nicely designed and offers from a beautiful view over Apollonia. Would definitely recommend.

We can't say enough great things about Nival! We would absolutely stay here again. The location in Apollonia is very convenient, and the hotel is beautifully well-kept. The pool has a great ambiance and the dining area is lovely at breakfast. We thought the hotel and our room was a great value for Sifnos!
