« I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was cozy and comfortable, it's a very quiet area convenient to stores and food. There's a walking trail behind the hotel, and indoor pool. Staff was very friendly and eager to help at every turn. If I'm ever near Portland, MI again I'll definitely stay here. »

« We got this room last minute. We did come in late at night but the staff wasn’t to helpful. Had the front desk closed off and not just late at night, but still in the morning at ten to nine. There was actually a fed ex guy there waiting for someone to take the package along with a couple other customers trying to figure out how to get a receipt for their stay. « We were told by front desk that we had to pay $14 for parking. "The bad news is, there isn't really another option." The parking that we had to pay for was far away, (I am in great shape and can do pull ups and it was a bit much for me with my bags) and we had to travel up and down a flight of steps with our suitcases. « Gary was very nice and helpful! I recommend contacting him for shuttle to and from the airport though since Google maps doesn't know how to find the house yet. I recommend coming here if you plan to stay for around a week since the sights are so pretty. My only critique is that I wish the bathtub was prepped for use but he wasn't expecting me to want to use it since we've entered the warmer season. »

It is located in a remote area, the place smelled awful, and when we got inside it looked gross and dog was in the lobby and growled at my daughter! Why was there a dog in the lobby anyways? « Check in took forever then we were assigned a room someone was already in .We had to go back down get another room after driving and being at the ball diamonds all day. Kids and adults were running up and down the halls yelling and slamming doors till 1:15am didn't get no sleep horrible experience. »

« Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. »

« The room was awesome loved the walk in shower and the little nook for your towel so you don't even have to get out. Loved the mirror as well and the microwave mini fridge and coffee station it was all hidden only thing I didn't like was paying $15 for parking »
