We had such an amazing weekend at this beautiful lake house with our large family. It easily accommodated all ten of us and you cannot beat the view! The kids enjoyed fishing and the adults LOVED the porch overlooking the lake. The huge kitchen table was perfect for meals and we will definitely be back! The hostess, Ashley, was so friendly and inviting! Five stars all around!!!

Fun Family Getaway

This house was great for hosting a family getaway over the weekend. Everyone had their own space and the common areas were nice and comfortable to hang out in. Access to the lake was convenient and the dock was a perfect spot to launch kayaks or just swim.

Great place

It was a great property we had an amazing time. We were disappointed that we weren’t told all the boat ramps were closed and how low the lake was. Over all it was a great place. The house had everything we wanted. Great memories were made.

It was a beautiful home and very spacious. With all the bedrooms having their own bathroom was great! And a nice big dock to swim and fish off of! The only downsides were the way down to the dock, was very washed out and difficult for people with a disability to go down. Also the kitchen was not very clean, there was food stuck in the sink and the freezer was dirty and one of the bathrooms was not thoroughly cleaned.

Les points forts : Arrivée
The place was located on such a nice part of the lake. We were welcomed with some cookies and the check in process was quite smooth. Beds were comfy and they provided plenty of towels for swimming! The house was decorated beautifully inside and on the back porch. However, the listing wasn’t overly accurate. The place was missing a toaster and a blender that was supposed to be included. Making my mocktails I planned for the birthday party was quite an challenge and we had to toast our bread in the oven.. we also couldn’t find 2 of the 3 kayaks or fishing gear that was listed. When I confronted the host she apologized, but didn’t offer any solutions..There were also a TON of spiders/spider webs around. Of course this is to be expected with a lake house, but it prevented us from using some of the outdoor furniture and we spent about 25 minutes clearing them from the dock and back porch. The webs were also in the house on some windows which I feel like maybe should have been addressed by the cleaners? We found some chips on the floor from a previous stay and the dirty windows blocked the beautiful view of the lake.Overall the stay was okay, but the few inconveniences definitely affected the overall experience.

Fantastic Stay!

We loved this house and location! Layout of the house was perfect. Lake was not crowded at all and the water was perfect. Many amenities like kayaks and fishing rods and tackle. We played games outside on the patio table and inside on the beautiful dining table. Everything was top notch. We will be back. Sunsets were beautiful.

Wonderful getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa con Vista. The house was just as described and the views even more spectacular. We had a restful and relaxing time. We even caught a few fish although the lake level is very low due to extreme drought in Texas. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the variety of k-cups for coffee! The bathrooms were awesome. House was very quiet and clean.. plenty of extra bedding. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a lake getaway.

Teacher's Group

A great get away for five 50+year old ladies. It was a wonderful two night, two day get a way! The TV system could have used some instructions, for the one evening we watched. The paths to the boat dock and picnic table could have been a little smoother trail for older ladies, but we were able to manipulate it. This is being picky but it might help some older adults.
