Vakantie en citytrip naar Golden Grove

Great family owned hotel, wonderful service, delicious breakfast, and spacious and clean room. Stien was a very entertaining host and every morning brought us to wherever we had to go. Good location, close to a small shopping mall and the beach is easily reached with a local cab. Our friends stayed in a five star hotel and had a couple of spare beds for us, but we opted to stay here because of the excellent service and the convenient location. It definitely made our stay in Tobago special! Thanks Stien!

Overall a great stay.

The property was in a decent area with beach access even though we didn’t go on the beach. The pool bar only had low-tier alcohol. There was no seating at the pool bar. There was no fan at the pool bar (badly needed). The servers at the morning breakfast weren’t friendly and looked like they didn’t want to be there. A half a smile goes a long way. A couple of times they were fussing about something while the guests were around. The front desk was helpful. Decent job of keeping the pool clean. The hot tub did not work. We only ate breakfast there and it was good. We had several family members there with rooms. Killed a spider in one. Lived with a gecko in another and had ours sprayed for ants. Understandable that we were in a country where that might be hard to control. The maintenance and grounds were decent for the price point, but there is some work that could be done. Not sure why the shacks are covering up the view of the beach from the pool. Looks they should be torn down and clean up that area. There’s more to say here but I think I’d look to book somewhere else if I were to return.

Er viel niets te doen dan alleen zwemmen. Geen activiteiten voor de bezoekers. De receptionisten en diner staff inclusief taxi chauffeur waren geweldig.

Very nice hotel with "old grandeur". Good spacy room with nice view (except the position of the airconditioning. To direct on the bed). Nice swimmingpool en beautiful beach. Nice and friendly staff, specially wenn you stay al little longer and you get to know them! We liked it very much.
