'Room was mostly great. The good: staff was great, parking was easy, access was good. Aldo loved much about the room. Bed, chairs, lighting was a descent. Bathroom was outfitted well. The bad: 1 elevator broken and the other seemed on its last leg. Stairway was confusing to find as I really didn’t want to be stuck in the elevator. My studio kitchen was well outfitted but drain was slow. Ice maker wasn’t cleaned so ice was brown but there was an extra tray to make ice. Big thing was dishwasher...

'disgusting. we got into our room with hairs on the sheets and dirty. We switched rooms and more hairs on the bed. when calling the desk they had housekeeping come and they were yelling at each other and threw the sheets on the floor- left and didn’t say anything then showed up later. The front desk said she was the manager then the real manager suddenly appeared 5 minutes later to apologize. The only thing we received were 2 drink cards '

'The Portland Press Hotel is a beautiful property. Everything is well maintained and clean. I was most impressed with the welcoming staff and easy valet parking. I do wish there was better signage for the elevators needing a room key, but that was a minor inconvenience. The simplicity of the rooms with just enough accommodations was perfect. I can't wait to go back!'
