Enjoy a prime location in a quiet setting - so quiet that loons regularly visit this place. This two-story home is a great summer vacation spot as you have direct access to the lake, a private dock, and four kayaks that you can launch into the water. It's also a convenient retreat for the winter with abundant trails nearby, ice fishing, etc.

This bright and airy mountain-view home offers a welcoming open floor plan, which seamlessly combines all living spaces into one - perfect for entertaining! Gather comfortably in the inviting living area to plan your next adventures or break out any of the many board games provided for a tranquil and entertaining evening at home. Stay up to date with your favorite series thanks to the smart TV located on the opposite side of the living room. When mealtime comes, put on the chef's apron and treat your loved ones to savory homemade meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. Then, relax on the lakefront deck as you take in the views sparkling waters of Manning Lake. This home boasts a lofted sleeping area where you will find several comfy beds that are perfect for the kiddos and a working station with a desk, desk chair, monitor, and printer should you need to work or study remotely. Additional perks include a kitchenette with a sink and mini-fridge, a screened balcony with seating, a cozy family room with several seating and a TV, and a washer/dryer.

Relaxing Lake house vacation

Loon Retreat is a well-kept home with 4+ bedroom areas and lots of space. The kitchen has plenty of pots & pans, utencils, modern appliances and a large table able to seat our group of 10; lots of books, artwork, games, binoculars, etc. We were very happy with the large back deck, 4 kayaks & canoe and easily accessed dock and swimming area. The lake is very clean. We were disappointed that we could not bring a portable firepit for s'mores --a first in our many years of lakeside renting, and that the indoor fireplace was not usable. Up to 2 dogs are permitted with the first dog being free and the second dog $242 for our 4 night stay. We were able to hear the loons calling, walked forest trails, attended a fun Farmer's Market.

Good place for a family vacation

Each year we are joined by our three adult children, their spouses and children for a family week. This week we chose a lake house for our vacation. The house has a lovely location on a quiet NH lake. The water is clear and the bottom is sandy near the shore. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, the swimming and the swinging rope/jump across the lake. The location is close enough to Gunstock and Lake Winnipesaukee for some additional entertainment and restaurants.

big family reunion

Pros: We loved the location of the house, the lake was lovely, and the decks were great. The boats and swimming were great fun. The bedrooms were spread apart so were quiet even with a big group. The kitchen was stocked very well with pots and pans. The family enjoyed the house. Cons: Vacasa was terrible to deal with. They would respond with a note saying they would get right back to us, then not get back to us. The third toilet was out of service. The internet was spotty. There were a lot of light switches to no where, and not a lot of lights, so the house seemed pretty dark.

Great stay

Great home. Amazing views. Everything you could possibly need with amenities. Attentive and communicative hosts. Off the beaten path, but there’s a general store within 10 minutes that has all the basics. Would highly recommend staying at this property and would stay again.

Winter Getaway

This home was the perfect place for my family. My 5 grandchildren had plenty of room to play and relax in. It was wonderful to find so many games, puzzles, and books for everyone. The kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation. We found the house to be quite clean and comfortable for the 10 of us. So happy that we chose this home for our long weekend.

Nice retreat out in the boondocks

It was a nice place to stay with family We arrived at night and during rain. The road getting there is windy and difficult to navigate at night. I strongly suggest getting there during daylight Make sure you take all your food needs because stores to source food are very far
