  • We are located just off the interstate on the Gibbon NE exit. If you are here to see the cranes, the sound and views are amazing from this property. It is located between two rivers and the feilds around are filled with cranes in the early spring. You can see them flying above when you are on the back patio. Our home is located about 5 miles south of Gibbon on a sandpit. In our home there are 3 king beds and 1 bunk bed spread across 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bunk beds. The master bedroom has an attatched bathroom. The other 2 rooms have a king beds. The 2 bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer, some shower amenities and a shower for your comfort. The master bathroom has a shower/tub. Out back is a view of the sand pit where you can fish and kayak. There is a loft up the stairs with a poker table. There is a wifi code on the fridge. Loved the home and the short walk to the river to see the cranes! Kitchen was easy to work in and living room was very comfortable. Host was great with directions to everything!

For seeing Sandhill Cranes, it was a wonderful spot. They were close enough to watch from the deck and flew in huge groups overhead morning and evening.

This is a great place! Good sized bedrooms with comfortable and large beds. Living room is nice with a great couch. Kitchen is very nice with Eden area off the back of the house. Would be a really fun place to visit in the summer!

This home is the perfect place to stay!! Everything was clean and the house was so cozy. The lake behind the house was perfect for my kids! They had a wonderful time fishing!! The host was so kind and very welcoming. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond making us feel at home! After traveling from NC it was so nice stayimg here. Our family definitely recommends this vacation rental!!

The property was great for our trip, if you're going to fish use hotdogs on the bottom for catfish. That's all we caught. We were also able to grill some steaks on the reqteq smoker on the very spacious patio.

Peaceful Location

We had a wonderful stay at this home.Our days were hot and long in Grand Island. This house was the perfect spot for our group—spacious, clean, and so peaceful. After busy days in the “city”, it was such a treat to come back to a quiet, calming location instead of a crowded hotel.We especially loved the quiet evenings sitting on the deck, soaking in the fresh air and watching lightning bugs dance across the lake. It made the whole trip feel even more relaxing and memorable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind after a busy day.
