'Had a lovely stay in the standard king room. Room is very spacious and clean. The bed - though a bit too soft for me was cozy, with really great quality sheets. The location can’t be beat with walking distance to the beach and one block from coffee shops and restaurants. Dog friendly rooms came with bowls and even a treat for our dog! The breakfast basket is such a nice treat. Would stay here again and again.'

'This motel is exactly what you see, very basic, but good. Upon entering, the light scent of chlorine reassures you that everything is clean and well-maintained. It’s centrally located, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I can imagine that in the summer months, being so close to the beach, this would be a great base for an amazing vacation.'

'The beds are so hard and uncomfortable the place is run down but they're remodeling as we speak. The staff was probably the friendliest I've ever had. Everyone so helpful and friendly. Once they remodel this will be the place to stay.'

While the location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the main downtown area—the overall experience was disappointing, especially for $249.93 per night. The biggest issue was cleanliness. When we opened the bed, we found blood stains on the sheets. Housekeeping came to replace them, but the replacement sheets also had blood stains. 'We needed a room for 1 night and this is a Motel 6 so my expectations weren’t super high to begin with. The property wasn’t too dirty but it did have an unusual oder almost like Chinese Food was left in the hallway for a couple hours. They do not offer cots, the rooms have vinyl plank floors and no couch so we had to hunt down a comforter set at a local store to make a bed on the floor for my son. Rooms came with 4 bars of soap but, no shampoo or conditioner for my wife and daughter. People were...
