'The apartment was well presented and clean, warm and comfortable in a lovely quiet building. The location was excellent with an easy walk to the centre and the tram stop virtually on the doorstep for going further out of town. There were supermarkets, a fruit shop and an artisan bread shop within walking distance and the kitchen was well equipped for self catering with all equipment in good working order. 'The apartment has an unbeatable location — open the front window and you’re looking at Porte Caillhau, like your own personal castle. Trams are an easy walk, and you can jog along the river. Should mention it’s on the third floor — that’s fourth to Americans. My partner thought that would be a problem, but he quickly got used to it. Good exercise!'

We met our host's colleague at the appointed time and she gave us an orientation tour of the apartment. The apartment was clean and had all the things we would need. 'We had a wonderful stay in this large, quiet, well-equipped, comfortable apartment. Our communications with Charlotte and Suzanna were timely, clear and relevant. The location was perfect. All the city sites and venues were within walking distance. It was so convenient to have butcher, bakery, restaurants, tram and bus within close proximity to the apartment. Taking morning walks to the nearby public gardens was a bonus. This apartment is in a perfect location for a great holiday in Bordeaux.'
