Beautifully located in the Sweetwater subdivision of Garden City, this cozy log cabin offers gorgeous views of Bear Lake from its wrap-around deck! You'll enjoy all the atmosphere of a mountain cabin, with a lovely setting and and plenty of deer and wild turkeys passing through, yet you'll still be close to all that Bear Lake has to offer. Enjoy a large living area with an open kitchen, a downstairs kids' room that attaches to a game room with air hockey, and close proximity to the Bear Lake Golf Course.

What's nearby:
This home sits four miles south of downtown Garden City, just half a mile from the Bear Lake Golf Course. You'll be a few minutes' drive from dining, shopping, and the famous Bear Lake raspberry shakes in town. The Garden City area offers wonderful year-round fun, with countless beaches, marinas, and hiking and biking trails in the summer and hundreds of miles of snowmobiling and skiing trails close by in winter (including Beaver Mountain Ski Area 16 miles west). There is never a shortage of things to do!

Comfy, pet friendly cabin with AC & ceiling fans for our late August weekend extended family getaway to Bear Lake. Master bedroom worked perfectly for our adult kids with baby. Basement bedroom was awesome for our adult kids with fur baby that could use the sliding door to go out to back yard to potty at night. Large dining room table fit all of us. Roomy patio deck with gorgeous view of Bear Lake. Plenty of parking. HOA does allow ATVs. Follow the rules. We brought ours and rode up into the hills for beautiful views. Perfect paradise. Will come again!

Amazing weekend getaway

It’s a beautiful cabin, beautiful sunrises stars at night. We saw a family of wild turkeys, which was pretty amazing overall had a great time love the pictures downstairs didn’t realize that they were actual puzzles which is really really cool.

Reaxing getaway

What a beautiful location! Very quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and very well stocked. Ww had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfy and there were extra blankets and pillows. Seems they thought of everything including a basket of things for pets. I've stayed here before and will stay here again!

Fantastic View

The house was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Excellent seating on several nice leather sofas and loveseats. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck is fantastic. Did I mention the view of the lake? We had one problem, the electronic door lock died. A call to the property manager solved our problem promptly. For the kids there is a foosball table down stairs.

Great views

Our stay was short but wonderful. There are a few items that need addressed - Grill was pretty gross and the wire brush didn't have any wire left on it to clean the grill. After taking some time to light the gas fireplace pilot light, we left it on pilot overnight. However, I got up at midnight and smelled gas and had to shut it completely off. There were portable heaters downstairs since the temperature from downstairs to upstairs was significantly different. Unfortunately, the heaters flipped the circuit breaker (which we located and turned back on), so were unusable. The pans cooking are a little on the worn side and smaller than what we are used to. Those few things aside, the property was beautiful and fit our needs nicely.

Lake/Mountain Getaway

Great cabin for a small family. Only 5 min drive to public beach at Bear Lake. Very well stocked with towels, cleaning and cooking supplies. Only knock against the property is that the AC only goes down to 74. That can make the upstairs master & loft stuffy unless you temp outside allows you to open the windows.

Back again & just as great!

The last time we visited this property was in May of 2020. We loved it then and loved it now! The views of the lake are beautiful. Kitchen fully equipped with all the tools to make our meals. We did notice the addition of the Keurig which was nice! Thanks for being great hosts and responding quickly to our messages. Wish we could give 10 out of 5 stars!!

Pros -very clean upon arrival and fresh smelling -comfy beds -well equipped kitchen and bathrooms for all needs -parking for several vehicles including a boat/trailer -wifi (also a con because kids won’t stay off phone) -amazing view from back porch -bbq grill and heater with full propane -central a/c and fans throughout -plenty of TV Chanel’s included and cable tv -plenty of extra linens and blankets -quiet Neighboor except for the construction next door Cons -unpaved roads to property very bumpy sharp turn to get boat and or trailer in -would be nice to have a queen in second bedroom. Instead of a full -bigger TV in living room. -spiders in the basement bedroom need some bug spraying -quite a few bees on the back deck Over all we would defiantly stay again! Thank you excellent property.
