'This property was excessively expensive! They have a limited menu in the restaurant bar and it, too was outrageously priced. You could skip the maid service at your discursion and were promised 500 points and a $10.00 credit on food but don't forget to ask for it because you won't get it otherwise. The Starbucks is open until 10:30 am and the restaurant bar does not open for lunch until 11:30. The restaurant across the parking lot Pier9 has a limited menu and again ridiculously expensive. 'If you want a quiet, beautiful & cozy place to stay on the lake, this is the place! My husband and I come to Erie quite a few times a year, with & without our 2 boys. This was our first time at lakeview, and it won't be our last. There was a play structure and swings that our 3 and 5 year boys were ecstatic about. Plenty of picnic tables and seating to enjoy the view of the lake. We came at the end of October so we didnt get to enjoy the pool but we are already planning our summer trip. The...

'By the free way and easy access, good prices and coffee all day.'

'The room was ready upon arrival. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast was very good. Overall the the bathroom needs a complete update and the property itself needs quite a bit of TLC.'

'Breakfast on our last stay was much better, they had waffles and more choices of pastries and fruit , cereals. Ice machine on our floor was broken as well as the laundry facilities. They used to have fresh cookies at the desk when you checked in, that was gone as well. The soap in the bathroom was so small, really changed in the last 6 months. Like they stopped caring,'

'I stayed in this property before, about 15 years ago. At that time, it was an excellent property and kept in good condition. I am delighted to report that nothing has changed. Everything about the property was first rate. The breakfast was terrific.'

'From Check-in to Check-out. The staff was always helpful. Breakfast was efficient and many choices. We will go back. We have never had a bad experience with any of the Fairfield hotels. If something wasn’t right. It was handled quickly without incident.'

'Very good'

'Everything was good except waffle maker mix was very old'

'Noisy - lot of kids running up and down to swimming pool.'
