We booked a stay in a Signature Room for two nights, but we had multiple issues. The first night we were assigned to Room 106 - highly do not recommend. First off, it was a handicapped room, which we did not ask for. Half of the room’s locks did not work, the door separating the master bedroom and bathroom was busted and didn’t close all the way or have a lock at all. The ‘view’ that we paid for was 75% blocked off, as the room is positioned directly behind the pool house. The master bedroom on the beach side has absolutely no view of anything but a wall. The living room has a partial view of the ocean, but only if the pool is empty. The balcony is not private at all, as stated in the Expedia description. The A/C was completely out in half of the suite, and the other half of the suite was hot and humid from working overtime, even with the doors closing off the half not working. The floor was also soaked in the room without working A/C. We checked in around 9pm, and by the time we realized this, the staffed hours had closed. I called right after 7am the following morning to see if we could get a room change, to which the attendant agreed but was clearly not happy about it. We then got moved to the room directly next door in 106, and it was better, but still not worth the extra for a Signature Room. The A/C at least worked, and the doors locked, and it wasn’t handicapped, but we really did not have a great experience.
