Fantastic Seawall Condo- Garden and Pool view

  • The beach across the street was recently replenished with sand. Walk the beach at sunrise or chill out at one of two spectacular pools with jacuzzi. The beds are pillow top king. The condo has two baths, one with a tub and one with a step in shower. Kitchen is completely equipped with all you need to cook, including Keurig single-cup and drip combo brewer, and Ninja Blender. Basic XFinity basic cable. The seawall is right across the street and is in the middle of some great people watching. Galveston Convention Center, Wal-mart and Kroger grocery stores are a short walk from the condo. Shlitterbahn water park, The Historic Strand and Moody Gardens are a short drive. The complex is a secured gated community, kid friendly, yet quiet.

Absolutely loved our stay at this condo. The location of the condo on the first floor by the pool is amazing and convenient. The owner was also super friendly and helpful. And mostly I loved the 11 am check out. The whole experience was top tier 10/10 for sure. We’ll be back for sure.

Great Stay

Very nice condo, clean and comfortable. Beautiful setting with nice pools...hot tub was great as the weather was a little cooler during our stay. Wish the pools were heated just a bit.

This property was exactly how it was described w/ the location to the beach and pool, amenities provided, etc. Very clean. I loved that we were on first floor and next to pool. One added bonus that was not mentioned was that the master bedroom had a desk; I was able to take mtgs in the bedroom w/out having to make the kids be quiet or outside.

Wonderful Condo!

My husband & two daughters stayed her and it was a nice and clean condo. Easy access to the pools & the beach. The owner and office staff were very helpful. I definitely recommend this condo and we plan to go back.

Great location

Great location! Easy walk to the beach at the traffic light. The condo had everything we needed for the beach, chairs, cooler, and tent. Oh don’t forget to pack your beach towels.

Clean, charming, and close to pool and beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo is seconds away from pool access and a very short walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the walk-in shower was welcomed after a day in the Texas heat. We were booked to go just a week after Hurricane Beryl hit Galveston, and Alva went out of her way to check the complex and unit to ensure that there was no damage and everything was good to go. We’ll definitely stay here again for our next visit to the island!

First floor, quick pool and beach access

Condo is on the first floor with a patio that opens to the pool and the beach is across Seawall Blvd. Quiet property, across the street from Walmart and within a few miles of several grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Quick and easy access to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens. Property owner was easy to work with. Condo had most things needed for daily living.

Great Location

This condo is in a great location. First floor. Easy access to the beach. Pool right out the back door. Just wish the weather had been better. Pretty windy and cool, but maybe that’s the norm in March.

Easy check in-out and cleanly

We checked in on Tuesday and condo was cool, clean and ready for a week stay. The check out was easy. Just a few things to tidy up and we were on our way home. Great location with quick access to the beach, Walmart and sonic and the Seawall. Walking distance for all.

Stress, free vacation

This condo is the best condo I’ve ever stayed at. It was outfitted to the max with every imaginable need Foreseen, and taken care. I can’t put into words how well maintained this condo was enjoyed every minute we stayed there, and had no cares at all because everything was taken care of before we knew we had a need for it. I courage you to book this condo.

Was awesome!!!! 10 out of 10.! I would def look to stay there again! My husband was also very happy with it! The renter was there waiting for us to meet us as we pulled up and gave us a small tour of inside and the pools etc. Thank you for everything!!! We were very happy! Great Galveston Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The property is located on the Seawall (with the beach right across the street), very near Walmart, and just 8 blocks from 61st Street restaurants, etc. The Dawn is a very nice complex with friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and two nice (though sometimes crowded) pools. This condo is on the first floor (a real plus for us with all our stuff!) and behind the pool (away from the noise of the traffic on Seawall Blvd). It is spacious with comfortable beds and all you need in the kitchen and "beach" closet. We found the host to be excellent too - very responsive and kind. We had an issue with the fridge and they had it fixed in a matter of hours.

Great condo at Dawn complex

This is a great little condo if you want a stay in the Galveston seawall area. The complex is adjacent to a grocery store which is handy and i next to a traffic light across seawall blvd which is a big deal if you know Galveston. Running across that busy road carrying your beach gear without a traffic light and pedestrian crossing is very unsafe. This specific condo was well furnished and had comfy beds. We loved that it was on the first floor and facing the smaller pool which was nice for my grandson. I did not find it too noisy, you could hear people swim but they were not too loud and respected quiet hour of 10 pm. I would recommend to a friend.

Pros, The property was very well stocked with all the things you need for vacation. Everything seemed ok initially, great location. Pools were both nice.Cons, the condo did not appear to be cleaned. I found previous renters clothes laying around. Dead bugs in the living room. The pullout couch had dirty sheets on it. We had to launder them before use. The last two things were pretty unbelievable. First we were sitting on the first floor patio and seen a 8” rat scurry across the front of the neighbors patio. And last, on the following night, our last before departure, I woke to use the restroom around midnight to find a 2” cockroach rooting around in the bathroom garbage can. Absolutely disgusting. I wish I had my phone to get a pic. But it took off before I could get one. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.The host was notified, and quite frankly, I did not get the impression that he cared at all. Merely thanked me for letting him know. I was forced to sterilize all my luggage and belongings to prevent infestation of my own home upon my return. I would not recommend this property. No one should have to worry about stuff like this when paying over 300 per night after “cleaning fees” and other miscellaneous charges.

Bug I killed in the kitchen, 2 more of these drowned in the dishwasher after I trapped them in there. Not exactly sure what they are.
