Our family had a great time, the house has plenty of room for a family gathering. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals. We all agreed that we’d like to return.

The house was amazing. Very comfortable, lots of seating, great beds, very clean. It is a short walk to the beach with a great walkway over the dunes. The ground floor area is amazing for kids as well as the second living space upstairs. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Home Sweet Pineapple! The house is beautifully decorated and has thoughtfully considered amenities for guests. Owners were immediately responsive throughout, house manager was also highly responsive. Of all the homes you could choose in Galveston, this one should be top of your list. We will definitely stay again next year.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness, beds were very comfortable, kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, bowls, utensils. Air condition worked well. Our family loved this home. However, the elevator was not working and it was very inconvenient to carry heavy suitcases & ice chest up the stairs. We called the property manager and he tried to get it working…needed a part. It still wasn’t working when we checked out. We wouldn’t have rented it if we knew the elevator was out because my wife has a bad knee.

This house is beyond amazing, every room beautifully decorated, beds soo comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, everything you need to go for the beach, great views from the balconies, quick walk to the beach. Probably one of the best houses on VRBO!

Beautiful Home!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous neighborhood. The beach is a short walk away. This is a non-driving section of the beach so it is quieter and less crowded than some other areas. The house is modern, tastefully decorated and very neat, organized and clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and joyful get away. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Home Sweet Pineapple and hope to stay again in the future! The location is great with just a short walk to the beach. The house is clean and well-decorated. Plenty of space for our large group. We loved the long dining table that allowed us all to eat together!

Great stay!

Had a great stay at Home Sweet Pineapple! Days after we left, I continue to be impressed by the details and touches Tim and Anna have put into the home. The beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to another opportunity to stay again.

Terrible weather but stay was perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated and organized home . There was nothing not thought of... Sound machines in every room, plenty of storage, space and seating. We loved that everyone could be in the family room together and enjoy eachother while it was raining outside.

We just wrapped up an incredible stay at this home, and I honestly cannot say enough good things. We traveled with 13 people, including six kids, and the house was beyond prepared for a group our size. Every closet was thoughtfully stocked, every bathroom had plenty of towels, and it truly felt like the hosts had thought of everything.The checkout process was easy and stress free, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. This was the perfect place to celebrate our dad’s 70th birthday, and we made so many special memories together that we will cherish for years.The location could not have been better. It was a short, easy walk to the beach, and we loved being able to see the ocean from the balcony. I travel often and stay in a lot of rental homes, and this one will always stand out as my favorite.Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay.

This is our second time staying at Home Sweet Pineapple and it really is just the most amazing property. Everything has been so well thought out from the decor, to the furniture, to the organization. It's stunning. They truly make it feel like a home away from home. I'm talking white noise machines in every room, adjustable mattress bases, stocked with Kleenex and trash cans everywhere, seasonings and extras in the pantry. I could go on and on. As a Mom who travels with young kids this home is a blessing. There is way less prep work for me so I can truly enjoy just being present with my family. The elevator is also amazing for shuttling up and down heavy coolers, luggage and food. It allows you to have a multigenerational vacation with zero stress. I feel instantly calmer as soon as I step in the door. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We absolutely cannot wait to come back. Book it. You won't regret it. Well, well worth it.

This amazing house was perfect for our family get away! Home Sweet Pineapple is beautiful, super clean and spacious, and the most well-equipped house I've ever stayed in. Kitchen had everything you could ask for, and then some. We loved the long table for family meals and game nights. It's a short walk to the beach in a lovely (and quiet) neighborhood. Tim and Anna, and their property manager Travis, were super quick to respond to a couple minor issues we encountered. It was very obvious they take extraordinary care of their guests. I look forward to coming back to this beautiful house again! Our family loved our stay!

Amazing beach property won’t disappoint!

This amazing house was steps from the beach. Fully equipped with no detail being left undone, this house provided a comfortable home away from home for a large group and the location was fantastic. From the beautifully decorated furnishings and interior design, to the small touches to create a truly special experience (puzzles, games, books, excellent Wi-Fi and tv), there is no better beach property in Galveston. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay and the Southern Hospitality! We are looking forward to returning!

Beautiful. This place will make you want to have your house decorated, organized and as well appointed as they have it. Seriously. They had everything you can think you might need from cooking utensils, lots of wine glasses to beach stuff (beach towels, chairs and all the things)! 2 fridges! We had a large group (11) so we stored waters, drinks, etc. AND If you regularly book vrbo you’ll appreciate these … this place has mini AVEDA toiletries in everything bathroom! Had all the paper towels, tons of regular dish towels, trash bags, a full size sponge and all the dishwashing stuff!! Plus the laundry room was ready for any need to wash. You didn’t have to bring anything. The whole house was labeled. No guessing. No questions. Best part? It was beautifully decorated but not in a way that made you feel like you couldn’t sit on anything. It was comfortable with lovely pillows and fabrics on every couch and bed. The art was thoughtfully chosen. The beds were comfortable with excellent quality sheets and blankets. As with everything else they had extras of bedding too! You will love this place. Easy walk to the beach. The views were perfect. We will be back, for sure!! - Kellie

Pineapple paradise

Spent a short weekend in this wonderful home, and everyone was sad to leave. Ages of our group ranged from 7-79, and all loved how comfortable we felt. We have stayed in several homes in Beachside and Galveston before, and this house is by far the most well stocked. From the awesome kitchen to the towels and the beach equipment, the hosts have thought of everything and skimped on nothing. We will definitely plan to return. Book it, you will not be disappointed.

Just read all the other reviews and do yourself a favor and book this house. You get what you pay for. The decor is high end and the house is well equipped with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. The beach walkover is on the same row about 50 yards to the sand. We would book this house over and over!
