    Located in the heart of Friday Harbor this newly renovated unit (in a three-unit building) is the perfect space for the mature day-tripper to go and explore all that San Juan Island has to offer and then come back and relax at night in this cozy suite.
    Relax in the living room and watch a movie on the 32in SMART TV (guests are welcome to log in to their own streaming services account) or cozy up in the queen-sized bed with a good book. The bedside lamps even have a USB port to charge your device while you sleep. The unit is situated with a kitchenette, complete with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster and coffee maker to start your morning off right. The 1/2 private bath is equipped with a toilet and walk-in shower (no sink in the bathroom).
    This unit for 2 people is the perfect spot for those who want to explore during the day and relax at night.

    For those who have a larger group, rent two or more of the connecting units. Unit #1 and Unit #3 connect.

    The internet / Wi-fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing.

Love staying here loved being in downtown Friday Harbor. It was so fun for me after coming back after 20 years. It was fun to stay in the old bike shop. It was beautiful and perfect. We loved staying there and we will definitely come back again.

Liked: location. Very comfortable bed. TV with roque access into my own accounts. NOT LIKED: very noisy at night. Could not sleep Thurs - Sun nights. Loud Traffic all night long. No ventilation in room. No AC & couldn’t open windows for air, as people on sidewalk 6 ft from house. House was very warm & uncomfortable. House had a ‘cave’ feeling. Had to keep all curtains closed as people were just 6 ft from house. Different window treatments (such as top down bottom up shades) would’ve allowed some light into room. Didn’t feel comfortable with 1 sink shared for kitchen and bathroom functions.

Cozy Corner is right downtown, making it easy to walk to local attractions. It is a cute home divided into four apartments, so the units are quite small and you can hear your neighbors. It is decorated well and is inviting. The kitchenette does not have a burner, though it does have other amenities. I would recommend that people bring their own kitchen utensils and easy meals that can be made in the microwave. The sink doubles as a kitchen and bathroom sink. It’s an ideal place for two people to stay. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

The Cozy Corner #1 was perfect for us! Great location! Walked to downtown for coffee every morning! Very clean! Very nice unit! Loved our stay!

Loved this cute little place. Right in downtown Friday Harbor so we could walk to everything. Turned the white noise machine on at night to eliminate the outside noise. Our suite was immaculate and we would happily stay here again.

Nice place to stay

Very clean, great location except a bit noisy. They did provide ear plugs which was thoughtful. Located right next to downtown. Parking was no problem. Would definitely stay again.

The small kitchenette had everything we needed to prep our own breakfasts and reheat our leftovers from some of the great restaurants in town. There was plenty of space for all of our things. The bed was comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here!

Cozy corner was as advertised. Close to town, clean, with spartan kitchen supplies. Unit 1 faces the road, which makes for a noisy location. Across the street is a parking lot that attracts young loud folks at night. Ear plugs would be useful to promote sleep. Very comfortable bed and furniture.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying here, it was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We ate out for all our meals, so we didn't need a kitchen, I wouldn't recommend for a long-term stay because you'll probably want to cook some meals. It was very clean, parking is pretty cramp in the back and it can be a bit noisy early in the morning especially on weekdays and there is a gas station across the street. They provide ear plugs if needed to counter the noise. Mattress and pillows are okay, more of a hard mattress than soft and pillows are a bit bulky if you prefer a flat pillow. Location is great for walking to shops and restaurants. Nice property, recommend for short weekend stays!

Location is good

The location is nice, it's a bed and a shower once you're done wandering around the island. They have ants, they're trying to fix that, the floors are sandy, the home is split into 4 differnet rentals so the bathroom lay out is awkward. But you'll probably meet other travelers staying there! Hopefully there's parking for you in the back. I would say I've defiently stayed a better homes because the hosts are people and not a management companies.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was relatively clean, we would recommend cleaning the bedding and couch. Being on the main road the noise was a bit excessive but they did have earplugs to help. The connecting cottage was a bit noisy, wish people would respect the quiet hours as one of the guest had their TV playing all night.

Amazing stay on San Juan Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic location!! The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. I traveled solo and felt very safe during my stay here. The only thing is the walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbors sometimes as well as the trucks going by. Just bring some ear plugs. There is a 9pm noise curfew so hearing the neighbors wasn’t too bad. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great location

Easy walking distance to everything. The noise from the extremely close street traffic and adjoining neighbors were loud at times. The noise machine helped a lot. We were there in mid to upper 70 degree weather. Since there is no AC, a circulating fan would have been nice since opening the windows made the street traffic louder. The house was very clean and close to all conveniences A short walk to the harbor.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The suite is as described. It was very clean and well appointed. For example, as other reviews have mentioned, it can be quite loud inside the suite, so we were pleased to find ear plugs for use in one of the drawers. (Side note: We also got a lot of noise from the next door apartment when it was supposed to be quite hours). The location is great. You can walk to restaurants, shops, and even a grocery store easily from the suite. Parking was an issue a couple of times and we had to park on the street using public parking overnight, then move our car in the morning. Overall, these were really small inconveniences (and we knew about the noise going in) that do not outweigh the location, cost, and cleanliness of the suite. We would stay here again!

Cute House Surrounded by Businesses

The house is cute and updated, but we were not aware of its location. It is in the middle of a business district and directly on a busy street. Our unit was Unit 1 and it faced the street so it was noisy. It also had a frosted glass front door which allowed the late afternoon sun in and although it wasn't that hot outside, inside it was very warm and there was no AC or a fan large enough to put out any air. We had to call the property manager and ask for a fan which he delivered two hours later. This did help drown out the noise, but the room remained warm and stuffy all night. The glass door also allowed street light to filter through, so the room was never dark for sleeping. There was no bathroom sink, the kitchen sink did double duty. The towels were gray and therefore not able to be bleached, so we weren't quite sure how germ free they actually were. They had an unusual odor. There was a bird's nest on the porch and bird poo all over the front mat that you had to step over as to not track it inside. When we arrived the fridge door was left open and it took awhile to cool off which was disappointing as we had some items that needed to be refrigerated. There was no place to put luggage except on the floor and on the sofa. We put it on the sofa because it is difficult for us to bend over to the floor and therefore we had to watch TV from the bed. The TV was too small to watch from the bed. There was also no extra security on the door, like a chain latch. The only lock was a deadbolt that you turn. This didn't feel very safe and we took our valuables with us since there was no safe, because we felt like being on a busy street someone could break the glass and turn the lock easily to get in. The other units had seating outside. This unit had a front porch, but there was no seating. It would have been nice to be able to sit outside in the cool since it was stuff in the house. Last, a small table and chairs would have been nice for dining or playing cards. These chairs could also be used to sit outside if one wanted to do so. This is a cute new place, and it is convenient for walking to Friday Harbor, but some amenities need to be addressed to make it worthy of a better review.

Nice property, noise was an issue

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is lovely, really clean and certainly cozy. The only issue we had was noise from JP's bar across the street, Wednesday night loud music and people shouting until 02:30, Thursday the same but only until 02:00, Friday night was the best night with loud music and drunk people shouting until 01:00 but the new occupants of the unit next door made up for it, they played music until 02:30 they were very partial to early 2000's Justin Timberlake, no accounting for taste I guess. Saturday night was just more of the same, I guess JP's is the locals place to party which is totally understandable as its the only place in town open past 10pm. Its says downtown but its literally one bar across the street that ruins the relaxing nature of what is a great place to stay.
