'Heating turned on at 20degrees but frankly when it’s minus 7 outside this was not enough. A fan in the bathroom would be good because it’s unreasonable to expect the window to be open when freezing outside. Shower was hard to adjust. A manual when you arrive would be a help too If you had 4 people in this house it would be too small. A simple double bed in the second bedroom would provide a bit more space to move around. Towel rail in the bathroom would be better if you could tirn it off and...

'Heerlijk stil slapen. Schone ruime kamer. Gedateerd maar schoon. Badkamer oud. Wel een goede douche. Echt een herberg. Enkele kamers, weinig gasten. Lekker stil slapen. Buitenplaats (grasveld met picknicktafels) en wat speelgoed voor hele kleine kinderen). Heerlijk zitje voor lunch of borrel met uitzicht op stadje en oud kasteel.'

'The room was absolutely filthy - even the kettle was dirty. The bathroom had black mould in it and there was mould / damp above the bed. The window didn't open so we couldn't even air the room. I dropped some clothing on the floor and when I picked it up it was covered in dust / dirt and small curly hairs... I know the room was cheap - the furniture was all very old and dated which is fine but the very least I expect from a hotel room is for it to be clean. The breakfast was the only redeeming...

'I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.'

'Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.'
