Conveniently located near Main Street shopping, restaurants and the Pacific War museum. This property was clean, comfortable and charming! We enjoyed coming back to this house that felt like a home so we could relax after a day of walking around town. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was great! Right in the middle of everything and even walking distance to places to eat and drink. It was a little noisy at night with same cars speeding by but it didn't last long. Lots of hidden stuff we loved frozen mug in the freezer, little space heater, fans, extra blankets everywhere, comfy beds, and nice big rain shower. AC and heat worked great. Will be back for sure!

I’ll start with the host. Literally the best communication we’ve had using VRBO. Others weren’t poor interactions, Brad just went above and beyond. Great communication before the stay and during, and even personally reached out when we had to unexpectedly leave the evening before our checkout to check on us and make sure we knew not to worry about the house and just to get on the road. Certainly wasn’t necessary, but the whole family appreciated it and all ended up well on our end too, so even better. As for the house, it was spectacular. From the lighting to the layout to the decorations, it was just a fun little house. The location is obviously second to none. My wife took full advantage of coffee (and Prosecco) on the porch any time she could. The backyard had a nice fire pit for use, and our daughter thought it was so cool she could even pick some pecans as they have several trees. You’re close enough to walk to the action, and some great people watching from the front porch as the day winds down. For those who might cook. We did a full Thanksgiving dinner there and had all we needed. Well stocked kitchen, and the rest of the house was as well. From extra towels to extra pillows and even a couple of box fans in the closet, they really aim to have all you could need. Couldn’t recommend this home or Brad and more highly. Look forward to a future visit as Fredericksburg has become a regular stop for our family.

Walking distance to Main!

This is our new favorite place to stay when we’re in Fredericksburg. It’s within walking distance to Main St., the decor in the home is unique and fun, the backyard is the perfect hang out spot after a long day, and the owners are responsive and easy to book with! Love it!

This home is well laid out and super comfy. Location is unbeatable. Off street parking and nice little backyard were appreciated. There was a laundry room, complete with detergent, that was an added bonus. They even had a vintage record player with old albums to play. We found a John Denver album that we played. What a trip!!! Can't say enough nice things about this home. Owner was friendly and easy to contact if we needed anything.The pictures online do not do it justice. It's much nicer once you step inside. This is the only place we'll be interested in if we ever return to Fredericksburg.Thank you so much.

Mixed experience

The place is nice and clean and convenient. But some of the design choices are not ideal. The little bedside tables in the front bedroom are way too low to be useful, and I use a CPAP so it was challenging. Plus the bed is high. And the lights next to the bed have step switches, so turning off the light to go to sleep requires either getting out of bed or leaning way over to reach the switch on the floor.There are lots of extension cords hanging in the living room and it was challenging there (and elsewhere) to figure out how to turn the lights on. Plus the cords seem hazardous to me.The shower is large and lovely, but there’s no place to sit or raise a foot, so if you’re going to wash your lower legs be prepared to bend all the way over at the waist. The toilet makes a weird noise as it’s refilling the tank. Just annoying. The dining table (tall like a bar table and narrow) is not really good for anything. The stools (metal) are uncomfortable and the table is too small to play games on (which was part of our trip plan).There is no ice maker nor ice trays in the refrigerator.The large “ottoman” in the living room might be a fold out bed. But because it’s so large and heavy it’s difficult to move and doesn’t serve well as an ottoman. Because we couldn’t really use the table to play games on, we tried to play on the ottoman.
