Barbi and Keith's Kottage | Hot Tub | 1 block to Main

This adorable cottage is just a block from the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. Typical of homes built in the early 1900's, there are two doors upon entering the house. The long front porch is also typical of this era and today it is sprinkled with great rockers for guests to relax and enjoy the people passing by.

Inside is a cozy yet elegant living room with sofa (queen sleeper) and comfy chair placed to enjoy the television. Red accents along with the pale yellow walls and wood floors make this room relaxing and inviting. The kitchen is small but has everything you need for your stay. There is a large refrigerator, range/oven, microwave and coffeemaker.

The two bedrooms in the house offer a king and queen. The king bed has an iron headboard and vaulted ceilings with old tin roofing used on the ceiling contribute to an appealing rustic décor. An antique headboard and footboard are found on the queen size bed in the front bedroom. Both bedrooms are conveniently located near the bathroom, which has a large tiled shower.

Just outside the back door is a small deck with a hot tub for enjoying the outdoors. There is also a seating area in the yard around the old cistern to relish those times when you just want to enjoy our refreshing Fredericksburg mornings and evenings.

Fredericksburg at your front porch

This quaint cottage has the best of Fredericksburg right outside the front porch. All the Main Street attractions are walking distance. The cottage is charmingly old-fashioned (but with a nicely modern bathroom). Grab a bottle of wine down on Main, then come back and enjoy the front porch rocking chairs or the back deck hot tub! Be sure to pack walking shoes, your swimsuit, and ear plugs--on Sunday morning all the church bells nearby do not care how much fun you had last night!

Fun weekend

My friends and I had a great time in Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the location of this cottage as it was very convenient to Main Street. I met Barbie on check in day and she was very friendly/ nice. The cottage had cute, festive Halloween decorations that we enjoyed. There were 4 of us and it was a little challenging with only 1 bathroom, but we made it work. Overall, a great weekend and this cottage/ location was very peaceful.

Spacious & charming!

This is a super cute cottage with plenty of space with an amazing location. Full kitchen with basics cookware (bring your condiments) is great! Nice shower with plenty of towels. 2 spacious bedrooms along with a comfy living area - very quiet in spite of being in such a convenient location!! Off street parking is a big plus. Front porch seating. We did not try the hot tub. Back yard looks scraped, perhaps ready for new sod!?!? No fencing or privacy.. but perhaps this is being re-done.. could be fabulous area back there!
