'The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. '

It seemed to have a variety of characters staying there..... Certainly one may feel vulnerable in the sirrounding area.... but the car park was close and included in the cost of the room. 'Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. '

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. '

'I did not use restaurant. Although i did use Latte coffee machine 👌. Room was comfortable, bed extremely so👌. All room facilities were great. Staff very friendly & helpful. As a solo traveler i felt safe. Parking the only issue due to its proximity to Trentham Garden, restaurants & shops. People openly parking in hotel parking spaces & walking over to the shops. '

'Stayed for 3 nights at the Clayhanger Guest house. Friendly staff welcomed us when we arrive at the door. semi-private parking behind the building. Nice room with good beds. Ensuite bathroom with shower and small fridge was all we needed. Breakfast service was great. Good value for the price we payed. '
