Fisherman's cottage on the Fouras Peninsula (Charente-Maritime)

Typical holiday home of our region, quiet, in an enclosed garden flowered with roses, oleanders and vineyards, 5 minutes walk from the beaches. Fouras is located on the Atlantic coast, opposite the islands of Ré, Aix, Oléron and Ile Madame, also opposite Fort Boyard, 20 kms south of La Rochelle. The region is rich in treasures to discover (the town of Rochefort, built in the 17th century by the will of Louis XIV who wanted to make it the stronghold of his maritime power, Saintes, Brouage...).
In Fouras, tennis, mini golf, sailing school, beach clubs, golf on the peninsula.
This family home is equipped with everything you need to cook (barbecue, plancha, air fryer, electric oven, whisk, electric blender and mixer, cast iron casserole, dishwasher...) and everything you need to enjoy the garden (deckchairs, garden table and armchairs, parasol, roller blind...). The house is practical and equipped (fridge/freezer, washing machine) and I leave the grocery store (oils, vinegars, spices, rice, pasta...) as well as cleaning products, it is up to each one to replace the product they have finished.
The master bedroom is equipped with a 140X190 bed and the children's room with two 90x190 bunk beds. a third picot bed can be added.
Travel cot and high chair for babies are also available.
A sofa bed in the living room can accommodate two additional guests.
Finally, I also leave 5 bicycles available, which are checked regularly.

The house is located in the heart of the village, and Fouras has an attractive commercial appliance (market open every day of the year, supermarket, food shops, restaurants, cinema, casino...).
Well-behaved animals are welcome.
