During our stay at this property, we encountered several issues that guests should be aware of, particularly regarding privacy, communication, and overall usability of the home.1 Undisclosed Cameras in Sensitive Areas At the time we booked, the listing did not disclose the presence of multiple cameras. Upon arrival, we discovered four cameras on the property: - A doorbell camera, which is expected and acceptable. - An exterior camera on the garage facing the road, which is also reasonable. - A camera installed inside the garage, which the host uses as a laundry room. Because this space functions as part of the home and is used by guests, this raises privacy concerns and may not comply with Florida’s regulations regarding surveillance in private interior spaces. - A 360‑degree camera near the screened porch that has visibility into the living room area. This was not disclosed and is especially concerning.2. Lack of Basic Guest Information There was no guidebook or instructions for operating appliances, elec, or other household systems. For guests who are not familiar with certain devices—such as elderly guests—this creates unnecessary confusion and frustration.3 When we contacted VRBO for assistance, the host became upset with customer service and stated they might remove their listing.
