'What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future!'

'I repeatedly asked for a later check out bc I work nights. Housekeeping at 11 am banging on the door and the room phone ringing off the hook after I advised the night clerk I needed a later check out and was reassured that it was not a problem. There were ants crawling up and down the walls I mean huge ants and those centipedes (two) of them in my room. One crawled across my foot. Please do better. Will not be back!'

'I came to Central Valley for a wedding and arrived after midnight to check-in. There is no one at the service desk to help to check in, instead there is a phone number on the door to call. I redialed the number for half an hour in a row before someone finally picked up. They send somebody in pajamas to the front desk to check me in. I went to the room which was just filthy and dusty. I wanted to complain to change the rooms but could not get a hold of anyone. The towels where damp, old, flinsy...
