'Nothing can be blamed on front line staff when it comes to this disgrace of a hotel. This is a matter attributed to owner/management. The rooms were in a horrible state with stains on the floors, carpets, etc. The bathrooms, plaster, and fixtures were rusted and falling apart. Breakfast was disgusting and consisted of a picture of Fruit Loops taped to a plastic dispenser, an unplugged waffle maker, along with a coffee and juice dispenser, both of which weren’t functioning. 'The room was spacious and had a nice view of the lake. I couldn't get a good night's sleep because it was so loud. Not that there were loud people, but because the building is so old and poorly insulated that you can hear everything happening in other rooms like it's in your room.'

'Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.'

'I booked a room at Bridge View and once we got there we seen a paper taped to the “lobby” door that we had to go next to the hotel called Sunset. That wasn’t in the booking information! My family woke up early and drove for 4 1/2 hours to get to St. Ignace along with exploring the island all day. So to my surprise once we go to our room there were cobwebs all over the walls, in the bathroom, and covering the screen door with an unbelievable amount of dead bugs and spiders galore in the webs!...
