Cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom private house in the heart of historic Sailboat Bend community. This beautiful home sleeps 5 (extra bed available upon request) and offers a fully stocked kitchen including a Keurig Coffee Machine, cookware, silverware, full sized washer and dryer. It’s your home away from home conveniently located close to I95 and 595.

Great location!

Good overall experience, property needs improvements

Perfect size for a small family. Our dog enjoyed having a fully fenced yard. Proximity to parks, restaurants, and everything downtown was ideal. There is one issue with this property- the air quality. The mini split in the kitchen works fine, but each bedroom has a wall AC, both of which are full of mold. We brought an air purifier, and it read 79%, so not good. The house has a moldy smell as well. Other than that, we had a good time.

The perfect chill stay

I loved Lisa & Craig’s home. My mom is in a wheelchair & she was able to roam freely around with no issues. The beds were comfortable and everything looked as it does in the photos. The location was convenient and the home itself was tucked away with a fenced backyard, perfect for privacy. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Retreat from this “retreat”

The photos posted do not match how the property actually looks. I was extremely disappointed. I never actually stayed in the house it was so bad. I had to find a hotel which was such an inconvenience because it was spring break. I will never book another home on VRBO. Everyone’s level of cleanliness is NOT the same. The house smelled really bad, the ceiling in the kitchen is crumbling, it’s not a house but a duplex, the bathroom tub was horrible and so was the mat, the couches were very soiled and not clean at all. It appears that anyone posts anything just to make a quick buck now days. I’m not sure who reviewed this house and said it was clean but that scares me. I’m ex military so I’m very meticulous. The host gave me a hard time when I told him there was no way I could stay there. It smelled of mold and animal which I’m extremely allergic to. NEVER AGAIN.

Perfect for a quick getaway

Lesa's Retreat was exactly as advertised. We read reviews that the neighborhood could be noisy but we did not experience this at all. The only noise we experienced were some noisy neighbors staying in the adjoining home. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Great stay!!

This is a great property and was perfect for a friends trip! There are accommodations for 5 and the beds were extremely comfortable and robes were provided which we loved! There are a lot of places that are walking distance which is great and we spent a lot of time on the back patio. Everything was stocked in the kitchen which was helpful as well. Also - the pictures that are provided are exactly what you will get! Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Bestie Weekend Getaway

Lesa's Retreat is perfectly titled for what it is - a retreat. Once you are in/on the property, nothing else matters. The energy was very positive and I got some exquisite rest during my stay. Restaurants, bars, day/night life are all within walking distance (ie: The Riverwalk, The Wharf, Las Olas) and access to any stores (Walmart, Whole Foods) you may need is a short drive away. We highly recommend Dania Beach - remember to take a beach umbrella! Craig was very responsive with all of our requests. Our only complaint is that our vacation ended too soon! We were already talking about our next stay at Lesa's Retreat before we left! You will not be disappointed!

Rented this unit for a week while me and my three guys renovated a condo in sunrise. This unit housed the 4 of us with no issue . one my guys is old grumpy dude who smokes was interesting to see the rules no smoking on premiums . the fridge is not that cold we just bought ice and made it work . other wise the master bed is amazing and very comfy saved me alot of money and aggravation staying here ill be bk .

Perfect Little Home!

This place was a perfect little home for me and my friends! It is nicely excluded from the main roads but walking distance to a couple restaurants and night life locations. The beach was only about a 5-10 minute ride and is really close to anything in Fort Lauderdale area. The house was super cute and very neat! They supplied a lot of essentials and a grill that worked perfectly! I get super comfortable calling or contacting the owners and we’re super easy to talk to and to connect. Overall perfect place to stay and loved every minute of it!

Cute Place

While the house is very clean, smells great and is comfortable, it was challenging staying here. The temperatures had dropped into the 40's our first nights stay, the 50's our second night and the heater did not work. Thankfully there were plenty of blankets but still it was a rather sleepless trip due to the cold weather. The AC worked just fine and was running when we checked in. The bath tub drain is exceedingly slow which required me to shut the water off during my shower to let the water drain away so I could have clean feet. Not the most ideal way to take a shower when the house is cold because the heat is not working. We also discovered quite rudely that the chaise in the living room is broken. The wall is propping up the back as it will not stay up on its own. Be careful! Also if you are used to peace and quiet in your own neighborhood, you will find this neighborhood quite noisy. You can hear practically everything outside due to very thin windows. The street is busy, there is a police station close by, the train runs close by, you can hear music at night, conversation from neighbors, etc.

The perfect stay with amazing amenities!

Judy's home made our stay that much more enjoyable! The house was just as pictured and described. She was very communicative leading up to our stay as well as during, and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. I've stayed in a lot of rentals, and Judy by far offered the most amazing amenities...everything you could possibly want or need during your stay was provided. She is SO thoughtful!! The snacks and wine were much appreciated :) I would DEF recommend staying here!
