'Awesome place '

'Overall it was a good hotel for the price I paid. The pool was great for kids and the breakfast had a lot of options. Only thing I’d suggest is maybe having some more allergy friendly options. One problem I had was that the bathroom and closet shared a door, which is fine but the real issue was that the bathroom door didn’t shut all the way. There was a like 2-3 inch gap. Also the hair products were empty and there was an odd residue around the shower. '

'This quaint b&b run by the hard-working and delightful Linda and Jim is situated in dog-walking paradise. Capisic Park is well worth strolling to, along with the rest of the lovely neighborhood. Linda churns out a tasty breakfast with plenty of coffee and juice. If you're looking to carb-load for a day of hiking, don't miss breakfast. This is a shared bathroom so be the early bird.'

'Our newly renovated room was clean however one of the garbage bags was not empty. There was no dishwashing soap or towel to clean the dishes. Not many washcloths for the amount of people that stayed in the room when we got there. And we ran out of tissues pretty quickly. The staff was excellent, every request we had, they responded and acted quickly.'

'Hot tub needs water added for sure. This was my third visit and the water is always low. '

'The neighbors in the next room over were extremely loud and kept my children and I up all night long. We checked out by 6am from lack of sleep. There was also a dog in a room on the third floor the barked continuously all night at every noise. I have stayed here since 2022 numerous times a year and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had!!!!! '

'Clean room , nice pool area and quiet ,will say that the beds are kinda uncomfortable but if you’re there for a night it’s not too bad ! I’d come back again. '

'I cannot say enough about how amazing the Longfellow Hotel is!! I almost don’t want to say how great it is so that I will be able to stay here whenever I like, and it won’t be booked!! so incredibly comfortable, hip, accommodating. Very simple yet every need is met just the way I like it.'

'Fantastic stay. We had the Stovall room which was very spacious. Bed was huge and comfy and the bathroom was also very big. Nice shower with lots of water pressure and nice products. Service was super friendly and everything was clearly explained. We’re lucky enough to be able to park next to the building. Only thing that could finish things off would be a small fridge in the room and a coffee maker.'

'The hotel is in an ideal location in downtown Portland. The staff is so kind and very accommodating! The stay was beyond comfortable and is the place we will stay every time we return to Portland!'

'The Blind Tiger was one of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in! The location was perfect – far enough away from the "bustle" of downtown but close enough to walk to many spots (Smalls was a favorite!). The daily breakfast was so great and the room, my goodness! Adorable, perfect, comfortable... best sleep of my life! Maggie was so helpful and accommodating and made our stay really special. All in all, highly recommend!'

'Property is in an excellent location with so much to see and do (and eat) in walking distance. My room was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Staff interaction was minimal (by design) but the few times I spoke with the concierge on site she was pleasant and accommodating. My only negative comment is regarding the toiletry products. I’m a toilet paper snob and that angel soft just doesn’t cut it. Overall I am beyond satisfied with my stay and would absolutely stay here again. '

'Had to listen to barking dogs all evening. When we called the front desk they said they would call the owners. Apparently with no success. They said because they are pet friendly there wasn’t anything more they could do'

'Incredibly clean hotel with lovely personnel. Even though some things were a bit dated, the cleanliness made all up for that. Also the complimentary breakfast was a good wat to start the day. '
