Alles is heel goed, de lokatie vd hotel is heel strategisch... Maar ik kreeg een kamer op de 1e verdieping bovn een drukke zijweg.... dus ik kan het raam niet openen.... en de (centrale) verwarming was een beetje te warm voor mij....

Prima locatie en vlotte uitstraling. Kamers zijn ok. Personeel vriendelijk. Wifi is goed. Terrasje voor de rokers.

The hotel Room was very comfortable and the staff was very attentive. You have a lot of food options around the area and its very close to major attractions. The only issue I had was the area outside the hotel, its dirty and at night it felt unsafe. But the hotel itself is a 10 out of 10.

This is a very nice and contemporary hotel. Our room was spacious. They are ecofriendly and the staff was always warm and friendly saying good morning and hello every time we went in and out. It's located in a busy area right off the street. It almost looked like the hotel did not match the area it was in. It was easy walk out to shopping streets and for coffee. It was also close to all the places we wanted to visit. While inside the hotel, we never felt unsafe and it was nice and quiet. The only issue we had was with wifi. The free hotel wifi wasn't working for us most of the time and that was very inconvenient. All in all the processes were easy and positive.

This hotel was an easy walk from the Florence train station. It was quite walkable to see "The David" and bus tours to Tuscany were leaving daily from the nearby train station.

We love staying at this property when we visit Munich and have a few times before. However, the plumbing was a bit of an issue this time. The bathroom had a terrible smell every time anything was used as the piping needs to be replaced or cleaned out. Other then that, the room was always cleaned nicely and the staff is amazing.

We were sceptical to book a room here as reviews are a bit mixed for the Mercure in Florence however our stay was fantastic. All staff provided exceptional service and Sabrina in particular was a delight to deal with. We were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade and our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, decent size bathroom with lovely Nuxe complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was fantastic, with continental options including pastries, cereal, cold meats, cheeses, spreads etc and a small bain-marie with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Fresh coffee available on request too. A wonderful and very memorable stay. Thank you to all the staff for their gracious hospitality.

The hotel is very nice, the staff friendly it’s close to the train station but block away from main tourist destinations, it is the only minus point to be given, the noise in early morning is due to it being on a busy side street

Al hotel se puede llegar caminando desde la estación pero si hay que caminar un poco para llegar al Duomo y Palazzo Vechio. El hotel muy bien, la calle donde está es muy concurrida. El restaurante que nos recomendaron cerca del hotel fue muy bueno (Enzo y Pietro), muy autentico.

The hotel is just 5 min walk from SMN main train station. Hotel building used to be a theatre. Many restaurants nearby. Walking distance to all tourist spots. Hotel room is very clean with AC and minibar which is very handy in hot summer months. Will stay again. Thanks.

Great location. But Beds gives back pain =(
Mercure is a good choice on location. Near to the train station, buses, trams. They are literally a stone throw a way. Mcdonalds, Mercato Centrale, good restaurants, the Duomo , Cathedral are all so accessible. But you could say that thats the only thing really good at it. Rooms are modern , good. But the bed is not good. You dont feel it at first but I woke up with a sharp pain in my back . I was so surprised! We stayed there 6 nights. I think it was only after 3 nights that I realized its the bed. I guess it is up for change. I noticed it only when I saw the bed lumping down … the beddings are okay. Also since there was a hail the day we arrive, it destroyed the AC, so we didnt have AC until the last night. The hotel can’t do anything about it. And well , we were given the concession of free breakfast which we only partook 3 times. Out of the 6 nights we were there. So yes to location. No to comfort, Room size is okay. Chiara was a great help in suggesting the Piazza Michelangelo to have a city view. Francesca is also helpful in sharing the way to the sights, helping us with the taxis . But sadly, our experience, was not really good in the hotel. Such a sad experience. I guess you could say the bed made it my worst experience in my travel history. No more Mercure for us. They do not have standards on their bed’s comfort. This to me is absolutely important as travelers need to rest their laurels and did not pay to get back pain.
